South Dakota Congressional Delegation on Abortion Decision

Compare and contrast these quotes are from the Sioux City Journal.

"I think the fact that this was a very close decision of the Supreme Court signals that this is not necessarily something that signals where the court is headed on Roe v. Wade generally," Herseth Sandlin said Thursday during a telephone news conference.
- From Congresswoman Herseth-Sandlin, who receives plenty of financial aid from pro-abortion Emily's List.

Meanwhile, from Senator Thune:
In a release, Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., said the court's decision is a "major triumph."

"As a nation, we have come a long way in protecting the unborn since the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade. However, we still have a long way to go in the fight," he said.
