Gov. Palin Back Home

The Anchorage Daily News has an interview that can be seen at their website. In this interview we see the Governor in a casual setting at home with husband and children. She proves what many of us have said, that she was over-managed by the McCain campaign and if left to her own thoughts and resources she can more than hold her own. She demonstrates intelligence, kindness and patience, but is no one's patsy. This interview gives us a glimpse of a strong, centered woman who knows who she is and what she believes and is quite able to defend herself if given the chance. Many Christians will recognize in Mrs. Palin the "fruits of the Spirit" mentioned in Gal. 5:22. Our country needs many more leaders of such qualities.

We'll see more of Sarah Palin in this light tonight at 10 o'clock ET on FOX News Channel:

"thoughts and resources she can more than hold her own"

That's really scary, being that the Secret Service blamed Palin for sudden spike in Obama death threats.
The new Newseek explains how Palin launched her attack on Obama's association with William Ayers, the former Weather Underground bomber, before the campaign had finalized a plan to raise the issue. McCain's advisers were working on a strategy that they hoped to unveil the following week, but McCain had not signed off on it, and top adviser Mark Salter was resisting.

Not knowing simple geography, and 150k+ shopping sprees are nothing,
Palin continues to lie about the mess she truly is. Anyone who reads between the lines to her statements then fact checks them can see she can't even get what went wrong correct.
Her Fox interview will be a joke.

Anonymous, you really should get your information in a better place than MoveOn.org or the DNC talking papers.

Allegations that Sarah Palin's exposure of Barack Obama's association with Bill Ayers is pathetic.

Obama associates with a terrorist who bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, and numerous police stations and court houses...and Palin is a bad person for mentioning it.

How utterly morally bankrupt is an asinine statement like that?

If a child molester gets caught by the police and gets death threats, I suppose the police are to blame, right? Or the papers for reporting it, right?

Man, do you know how badly you've embarrassed yourself by talking such nonsense?

Also, if you'd read anything other than the DNC talking points, Huffington Post or MoveOn.org, you might also know that the geography thing was total bunked--debunked by McCain staffers over the past few days. (It's a documented fact that Obama said there were 57 states, however, and Biden thought that President Franklin D. Roosevelt talked to the American people on TV...four years before he was elected president, and at least a decade before televisions first became commercially available.)

I hope you don't run for president, Anonymous. The governor of Alaska for whom you have such disdain would run rings around you with half her brain tied behind her back just to make it fair.

I won't be specific. I'm happy she's off the trail b/c I perceived that she was as dumb as a rock, and I don't want THAT too close to the Presidency. The Republicans had better options, even better Evangelical options.

Colin, it is understandable that you percieve Gov. Palin the way that you do. After the pounding that she endured at the hands of the MSM and liberal (and some "conservative") pundits we should wonder that she ever got through elementary school. But listening to her speak extemporaneously on subjects that she is passionate about reveals a very intelligent and consistent mind.

The Democrats modus of destroying opponents by making them out to be either evil or stupid has been over-played and will not work for most thinking Americans. You know, underestimating your opposition is a tenuous tactic, as demonstrated by eight years of Reagan and George Bush. Liberals underestimate Sarah Palin at their own peril. She will be a dominant voice of conservatism for many years.

Had Biden been pillaried similarly for his gaffes we'd all be terrified that he is next in succession to the presidency. Heck, we'd be equally terrified of Obama after some of the dillies he let fly over the course of the campaign. "All 57 states?" Indeed!
