Book of Mormon Burned on Church Doorstep

A Mormon church in Littleton, Colorado had a Book of Mormon burned on the church's doorstep Tuesday night.

The Denver Channel reports here with text and video on the incident. A couple of men were sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot prior to the incident, and witnesses don't believe they were church members.

It is suspected that the arson was committed against this church because of the stand taken by the Mormon Church in support of California's marriage protection amendment, Proposition 8.

Since the measure passed in last week's election, there have been several incidents of anger, violence and disruption. These incidents have included racial epithets hurled at black people (blacks supported the measure 70%-30%), disruption of a church service by homosexual activists, stealing and vandalizing private property, intimidating and assaulting an old lady with a cross, and public calls for violence and murder against Prop 8 supporters.

We haven't seen a whole lot of "tolerance" from the apostles of tolerance from the homosexual community lately.

Homosexual activists have put their best face forward in recent decades, in accordance with the positive PR strategy advised by "After the Ball," a book written by homosexual activists advising the homosexual community to hide its undesirable elements and present a positive image.

However, it seems that when the people assert "government of the people" and wrest public policy from homosexual activists and their judicial activist allies, all that composure goes flying out the window and we see what really lies beneath: pride, arrogance and a whole lot of hate.

They don't care about "government of the people, by the people and for the people." They don't care about representative democracy. They don't care about the rule of law. They don't care about constitutions. They don't care about what's good for children. They don't care about what's best for society. They don't care about natural behavior. They don't care about morality. They don't care about living as the Creator created us to and told us to.

All they care about is what they want.

I think you hit the nail right on the head.

You should be elated that Christians are being persecuted. Doesn't it only add more support to what Christ predicted? Thanks for making it so easy, too. There's just so much to dislike about you whackos!

Ah, another voice joins the chorus of tolerance from Anonymous 8:49. What a sweet song of your faith the homosexual activist choir has been singing lately!

I don't have to be gay or liberal(I'm neither) to recognize blind faith to a barbaric myth when I see it.

You mean that barbaric myth that homosexual behavior is normal, natural and healthy? Or the barbaric myth that homosexual activists actually believe in the "tolerance" they demand from everyone else?

I'd like to ask the militant homosexuals just what they are afraid of? What difference should it make to them if I consider their sacred sacrament of sodomy a numbingly sick perversion and contrary to God's plan for humans. If I call their "love" mere lust for scatologic indulgence, why should that matter? Why the hateful heterophobia. Are they afraid we might enter their bath houses and force them to wear plaid flannel shirts? or look approvingly at a Sports Illustrated Swim Suit edition?

Get over it. You lost. Marriage is a relationship that can only exist between a man and a woman. No human culture or society has ever thought otherwise.

They lost? Tell that to Massachusetts, Connecticut, Canada, South Africa, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and nearly every country in western Europe that recognizes gay relationships as equal to straight ones.

Dr. Theo, didn't you used to sodomize men and lust for own scatalogical indulgence too? I mean, before you fell in love with Jesus, of course.

OK, Anonymous 2:47, then what the heck is all the fuss about?! It's only one state that said 'NO' so why the uproar from homosexual groups.

Alex! (Anonymous 2:59 ;>) You’re back! I recognize you by your kind and gentle spirit.

It is true that I have admitted to having engaged in homosexual activity in my past. It is true that the Lord Jesus delivered me from that perversion years ago, Praise God and His mercy. I have not, however, been specific about what activities I engaged in and you shouldn’t presume to know. It is not important what I once did knowing that I am forgiven and will be welcomed in eternity in complete righteousness, thanks to the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. I pray that you’ll one day rejoice in the confidence of salvation, Alex.

Anonymous 2:47, you really should watch the news sometime. This entire post is about the LOSS of the vote in California by homosexual activists. They tried to stop Proposition 8, the marriage protection amendment, and they lost.

They also lost in 29 other states that have also passed marriage protection amendments...as they will probably lose when the remaining 20 states get around to having a vote on protecting marriage...as they did when Congress passed the federal Defense of Marriage Act a few years back.

Let's face it, there's a reason why the United States is the greatest, most free, most affluent and most powerful nation on earth: more moral character than any other nation on earth.

Isn't it great to be an American?
