SD Family Policy Council Voter Guides Available

The South Dakota Family Policy Council has just released their voter guides for the 2008 general election.

They have them broken down into four sections based on geographical legislative district:

Districts 1-8
Districts 9-17
Districts 18-27
Districts 28-35

With the pro-homosexual group Equality South Dakota endorsing several legislative candidates across the state, and the Gill Action Fund from multi-billionaire Tim Gill pushing the homosexual agenda at the state level, how you vote--and the fact that you vote--is more important than ever.

The guide also has information on the U.S. Senate race between Senator Tim Johnson and Republican legislator Joel Dykstra, and the U.S. House of Representatives race between Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin and Republican businessman Chris Lien.

Pro-family folks: even if you don't get out to the polls and vote your values, you can rest assured the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual folks will be out voting their values. That means they get to make the laws in our state.

Think about that if you're considering staying home this election season.

UPDATE: I just found out at a South Dakota Family Policy Council luncheon today that there is an inaccurate answer for Question 9 for District 33 Senator Dennis Schmidt.

Question 9 asks, "Support legislation that prohibits adoption of children to homosexual parents?" The answer listed is N, but should be Y.

I personally asked Senator Schmidt about this and he confirmed that the answer should be "Y"--that he would support legislation that prohibits adoption of children to homosexual parents. I'm not sure if Schmidt mis-marked the answer on the questionnaire or what happened, but Y is his correct answer to #9.
