Democrats Own the Financial Meltdown

By Marie Jon'

New Media pundits have been forthright when presenting well-investigated stories concerning Barack Obama and John McCain. While the alphabet biased media fawned over Obama, who marketed himself as a candidate who transcends race and represented a new brand of politics, others looked for the truth.

As it turns out, the New Media found that Obama is just another disingenuous politician. He is a packaged and pretentiously scripted candidate created by the DNC. Obama's promises are nothing but the oily words of a swindler.

Appropriately, the facade has been stripped away by some of those who love their country. Conservative talk show hosts from across the USA have been peeling the blinders from the eyes of both parties' constituents. Great inroads have been made by patriots such as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. They have been revealing the Democrat's deepest darkest secrets to unprecedented numbers of Americans.

The mainstream media believed that the American voters had no insight as to what liberals were feeding them. However, Americans were beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together, and did not like what they saw. Recent polls show that the media is not as effective as in the past.

The truth is now surfacing about Obama's political life. It stems from the old tainted Chicago political machine with its legendary negative entrapments and scandals. The Chicago political turf is the same today as it was under the deceased Mayor Richard M. Daley, Sr. Corruption and nefarious doings still loom large in Chicago politics.

It is about time that the Democrats clean up their party of dirty dealings. Two Republican mavericks are ready to do just that. They will help Americans give government back to the people, if enough of us are willing to take it.

While Obama talks the talk about greed on Wall Street, let's take a look at those who are running his campaign. Obama's top economic advisor helped bring down Fannie Mae. He shamelessly walked away with millions after he helped weaken the government-backed enterprise.

"Franklin Raines, Clinton's White House Budget Director, ran Fannie and collected $50 million." — Michael Reagan

Raines served at President Bill Clinton's pleasure as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fannie Mae. However, he was forced to retire from the position due to corruption. An in-depth audit of Fannie Mae uncovered accounting irregularities that covered a four-year period of time. Raines could not defend the mishandling of funds.

The Democratic presidential nominee is also linked to other troublesome Illinois politicians. Bill Daley, who was the former U.S. Commerce Secretary, Senate President Emil Jones, and Gov. Rod Blagojevich. These political hacks have been scrutinized for having problematic dealings with certain businessmen and political power brokers.

Obama called Jones his "political godfather" and Rezko his "money man." There also appears to have been some nepotism concerning Blagojevich and Jones: Bill Daley is the brother of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. Bill just so happens to be a lobbyist.

Watch out, America. We have listened to the Democrat's doublespeak for these past seven years, including their lies about our successes in Iraq. To this day, Obama has not given the Iraqi people any kudos for the magnificent job they have put forth to strengthen their own government's internal workings. Because of the omnipresence of General David Petraeus and of our brave troops, the Iraqi people hold fast to freedom. Today, America's troop reductions are taking place.

When our country staggers from economic blows, the Democrats and the media make situations sound worse than they really are. America's economy is solid, except for the Wall Street debacle, which appears to have been caused in a large measure by the Democrat Congress, including Barack Obama.

Excerpts from NewsMax.com: Democrats Own the Wall Street Debacle

By Michael Reagan

"When I was a little boy, we used to play a game where we wore a blindfold and tried to put a slip of paper on a drawing of a donkey we couldn't see. I thought of that as I watched the chattering class, blindfolded and frantically trying to pin the blame for the Wall Street debacle on everything but the real donkey, the Democrats, whose symbol is . . . guess what?

"Right — a donkey, and that's where the blame lies, on Barack Obama's Democratic Party.

"To find the donkey, you need to go back to the Clinton administration, which decided that everybody and his kid brother were entitled to a mortgage even when they didn't begin to qualify for a home loan.

"In saner days, banks designated certain areas as no-loan zones — depressed neighborhoods where lending money to potential home buyers was not just a risky investment, but a certain future foreclosure.

"Critics of the practice called it 'redlining,' and President Clinton and his chums on Capitol Hill decided that banks should no longer act like banks and lend money only to home buyers who could afford to handle the monthly payments. Now all bets would be off and people not the least bit creditworthy — and speculators — would be entitled by law to obtain mortgages even when it was obvious they couldn't afford to handle them.

"Enter those now infamous quasi-government banking instruments known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which poured fresh money into the banking system by buying mortgages from banks. Over the long haul, they managed to load up their portfolios with billions upon billions of dollars of risky mortgage paper that banks had been forced to offer and then dumped on them." Full Article

When America goes to the ballot box, they will remember Obama's fast-held relationship with Bill Ayers, the Co-founder of the Weather Underground. We will not forget his bigoted, immoral former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. His actions and words should be emblazoned upon every voter's mind.

We've seen this political year turn into a racial divide caused by Obama himself. He sat in an anti- America, anti- Semitic Afrocentric church of Christ for twenty years. Obama called Rev. Jeremiah Wright a legitimate political issue. His surrogates further insult us by saying that if Obama loses the presidency, America is a racist country, when it will be his far left politics that Middle America find unappealing rather than the color of his skin.

Come Election Day, on November the 4th, Senator John McCain and Sarah Palin will be given the mandate of the American people. May God continue to bless two authentic reforming mavericks that actually put America first.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) blames President Bush for the financial mess stemming from the collapse of Democrat Party piggy-banks Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac. I guess no one is really surprised that Reid blames Bush, and we don’t really learn much from the artice in The Hill blog titled, “Reid: Bush Guilty of ‘Fiscal Dereliction of Duty.’” What is amazing, however, are the responses to the article printed under “comments.” Of 208 comments (as of this writing) there were fewer than 20 written in support of Reid and Democrats generally. Most commenters seem to think the blame lays a little closer to offices of Reid, Pelosi, Dodd, Shumer, Clinton, Barney Frank and others top Democrat leaders.

The following are a sampling of comments about Reid taken from The Hill blog:

“What an absolute loser. I don't know why anyone — Democrat or Republican — takes this guy seriously. If there was ever an argument for term limits, it'd be stamped with his gaunt face.”

“Sen. Reid is the number one reason the approval ratings of Congress are in the toilet…”

“Harry Reid - Shut up.”

“1977 Community Reinvestment Act - Pres. Carter
1997 Community Reinvestment Act - Pres. Clinton
Any honest person, (which leaves out Harry Reid), knows these are the start of the problem.
2003, Pres. Bush, attempting to rein in the problem, rebuffed by Dems including Liar Reid.
2005 or 6, McCain specifically sites problems and calls for reforms, rebuffed by Dems, including LIARS REID, DODD, FRANK, PELOSI and OBAMA.
I know facts are a drag, libs, but suck it up.”
Ron Reale
“Reid is once again showing why our congress has an aproval [sic] rating that makes W look freakin' sweet.”
“If Chris Dodd and Barney Frank are not led away in handcuffs along with all the Wall St. crooks, there is no justice.”
“To the American people. I beg of each and every one of you. Stop the insanity. Reid, Durbin, Dodd, Murtha, Pelosi, Rangel, Schumer, and others. Vote them out.”

“Harry is the problem.
Nancy is the problem,
Barny Frank, Chris "Country Wide" Dodd, Chuck "IndyMac" Schumer,
Hillary "There were positive reasons why Bill signed that legislation" Clinton are the problem.”
“Well Harry you,ve made yourself look like a moron again. Has anyone ever told you that your stories can be verified or disproven by a little research.[sic]
“I am thinking the next State of the Union Address would be a prime time to storm Washington and dispatch all these vermin we call public servants and start fresh.”
“Remember, if you will, the voice of strong leadership when Harry Reid stated, "Nobody knows what to do!"
“Who will not let us drill?-DEMOCRATS. Who will not let us build refineries?-DEMOCRATS. Who resisted any regulation of Fannie or Freddie-DEMOCRATS. Who ran Freddie and Fannie into a ditch? Raines and Johnson-DEMOCRATS. Who pushed mortgage companies into lending money to families that could not afford to pay?-DEMOCRATS. Who said Freddie and Fannie were stable just a couple of months ago? Bariie Frank (D) and Chris Dodd (D)-DEMOCRATS.”
Last spring with polls flush with Obama support there was breathless talk about Democrats not only winning the White House but also taking filibuster-proof control of the House and Senate come November. From these remarks and many others that can be found throughout the blogosphere, Democrat dreams of Soros-financed political hegemony may soon to be dashed.
