Obama's Claim to be Ready for Commander in Chief Has No Surge

There is a growing awareness that Barack Obama and his running mate Joe Biden are critically weak on national defense and U.S. credibility.

Barack Obama tells us in this video about all he will do to weaken our military:

The Politico says Vets for Freedom is launching an ad campaign to highlight this important area. They are starting with an ad called “I Am the Surge.”

From The Politico, here is the text of the ad:

Herrera: I am a sergeant …
Thul: U.S. Army staff sergeant …
Quinlan: Combat infantryman …
Herrera: And I am …
Thul: I am …
Quinlan: And I am the surge.
Herrera: Sen. Barack Obama credits the improvements in Iraq to anything but the surge …
Quinlan: But I know the surge worked. I was there … I saw Al Qaeda decimated.
Thul: And watched the Iraqi government grow stronger …
Herrera: Sens. Joe Lieberman and Lindsey Graham have introduced a resolution.
Thul: Recognizing the success of the surge …
Herrera: So call Sen. Obama, and tell him to support our success by supporting Senate Resolution 636.
Thul: Vets for Freedom is responsible for the content of this advertising.

Don't let the name fool you; Vets For Freedom is NOT a grass-roots group for veterans, they are in truth another Republican store-front, run by neo-con insiders very close to the Bush Administration.

Hm...Is Bob Ellis honest enough to post the link with the details (all public, verified information)?

I don't know if I've ever seen a term liberals love to throw around more than "neocon." (Maybe "the rich" and "the children" come in pretty close, though).

I can't figure out which libs hate more though: the Jews associated with the term, or simply the conservatives associated with the term.

Regardless, the message is true here. Obama opposed the surge...and now he has egg all over his face, because it worked wonderfully.

And, as his video shows, he would be utterly dangerous as commander-in-chief.
