The Abortion Monkeys

Pastor Hickey's latest in his series on "Is Abortion Wrong" is out at Voices Carry.

For those who may remember the 2006 debate of Referred Law 6, you'll recall that some reprobate religious groups such as Pastors for Immoral Choices claimed God left us in the dark on abortion, and some claimed that none of the major religions addressed abortion, either.

Pastor Hickey lays such lies to rest in this piece, covering not only Judeo-Christian references from the Old and New Testaments, but also examining extra-Biblical references.

Hickey looks at some Jewish writings of the ancient world which condemned abortion and pointed to the value of the child in the womb.

He also looks at some of the extra-Biblical writings of the early church leaders which likewise condemn abortion.

Those who see nothing wrong with abortion are either ignorant, or don't want to see.
