Bible Scholar: Glenn Beck Social Justice Comments Reckless But Have a Point

Amid the uproar over Glenn Beck’s recent comments about the church and social justice, theologian Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr. says that while Beck’s comments were lacking in context, the social gospel is one that redirects Christian emphasis on salvation through Jesus to using politics to create heaven on earth. “The urgency for any faithful Christian is this – flee any church that for any reason or in any form has abandoned the Gospel of Christ for any other gospel.” Read more »

Survey: One-Third of Doctors May Leave Practice if Health Care Bill Passes

A survey conducted by the physician research group Medicus Firm has found that if Democrats pass the government health care bill, nearly 1/3 of all practicing physicians say they may quit practicing medicine. If a public option were included, the number jumps to 45.7%. Democrats are obviously trying to push us out of the frying pan and into the fire with this socialized medicine plan. Read more »

Dems: Health Care an 'Opportunity' To Federally Fund Abortion

Democrat Rep. Bart Stupak admits what other Democrats lie about: There’s no doubt that the Democrat Party is the sort of pro-choice party…So here’s [within the government health care bill] their opportunity, they’re taking their opportunity to push that idea, that there should be federal funding, or tax credits, or subsidies for abortion.” Read more »

Welcome to socialism! Read more »

Boomsday: Coming to a Theater Near You

Boomsday: Coming to a Theater Near You

Without a robust family-centered culture to care for America’s elderly, the State will continue to expand its role in this arena. The only remaining hope is that we as a society can learn from our mistakes, move away from our radical individualistic, self-centered mindset, and rediscover the great blessings – and great responsibilities – of true family. On ‘Obamacare,’ just say no

On 'Obamacare,' just say no

When Barack Obama was sworn in as president, he chose the bible that Abraham Lincoln used on which to take the oath of office. A little over a year later, as President Obama strong arms House and Senate Democrats to pass a health care bill that will nationalize 17 percent of our economic lives — a bill that many Americans don’t want — we ought to recall Lincoln’s famous words at Gettysburg. If you care about twenty-first century society, you must read Steve Goreham’s new book, Climatism. In my 55-year career as a scientist I have written more than 1,000 book reviews for various journals. No book has pleased me more than this one. – Jay Lehr, The Heartland Institute Read more »

Making You Pay for My Rights

Making You Pay for My Rights

In America we have since the birth of our country recognized that we are endowed with certain inalienable rights from our Creator. We do not have a right, however, to diminish the rights of another person. In other words, we do not have the right to force another person to surrender their property or services to give to us. Universal Health Care–A Foreign Concept

Universal Health Care--A Foreign Concept

Global Warming in Historical Perspective

Global Warming in Historical Perspective

This is a nice video which puts recent planetary warming in perspective with temperatures of the last few hundred years…and the last few thousand years. When we examine the historical record, any warming that may have been occurring recently (and appears to have leveled off) is pretty tame. Claims of climate doom are nothing but a hysterical hoax. Singing the Praises of Socialism

Singing the Praises of Socialism

During the National Defend Education protest last week, you didn’t so much see parents, teachers and students as much as you saw union thugs and socialists out defending public education. Glenn Beck ran a special on this Friday. In this video, Beck takes a closer look at one of the nut-job organizations present at the protest called Fight Imperialism Stand Together (FIST). The FIST rep sings the praises of “free” education and the “right” to food, and how wonderful the workers paradise of the Soviet Union was. Read more »

Public Education: The Indoctrination Factory

Public Education: The Indoctrination Factory

Glenn Beck’s “Indoctrination in America” special last Friday is a sobering look into the modern excuse for “public education.” It reveals the host of radical socialist organizations that are meddling in American public education, and what they are teaching our children: to believe in global warming dogma, push radical environmentalism, parrot Marxist propaganda, and not listen to their feeble-minded parents.
