What Will You Do When the Lights Go Out?

What Will You Do When the Lights Go Out?

We’ve allowed demagogues preaching a false gospel of man-made global warming chanting songs of pollution hysteria while serving sacraments of social guilt to give our enemies a chokehold on our energy artery. The next time you pull into a gas station, as you pump your fuel look at the price. Remind yourself we have a Secretary of Energy who thinks the price should be at European levels and a President who has said energy prices will skyrocket under his programs. Now ask yourself, “If that’s their plan, what’s mine?”

Have a Little Faith

Have a Little Faith

The “scientific” world view is a rather fragile one, in which there is little room for debate outside the accepted parameters of prevailing scientific dogmas. Those scientists with the courage to challenge these dogmas quickly find themselves blacklisted – relegated to the fringes of the profession, unable to secure prestigious positions in the community and unlikely to get their work published in prominent journals. This is hardly conduct befitting a field of study that prides itself on the objective pursuit of truth.

Skin Gun Uses Adult Stem Cells

Skin Gun Uses Adult Stem Cells

It looks like adult stem cells are on the move for helping people once again. Doctor Jörg Gerlach from the University of Pittsburgh’s McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine has developed a device, a “gun” if you will, which can spray a patient’s own stem cells onto a burned area of skin and heal severely burned skin much faster than current techniques. It can take weeks or months to do what this adult stem cell technique can do in a few days.

Ethanol Lobby: Fuel Trumps Hunger

Ethanol Lobby: Fuel Trumps Hunger

Here is some food for thought: The amount of grain needed to fill the tank of an SUV with ethanol just once can feed one person for an entire year. Another hard-hitting fact: The 107 million tons of grain that went to U.S. ethanol distilleries in 2009 was enough to feed 330 million people for one year at average world consumption levels, as stated in an article on Food Freedom’s website. Still think the federal government’s mandate of ethanol in vehicles is a good idea?

Roman-Era Tree Ring Study Finds Natural, Cyclic Climate Change

Roman-Era Tree Ring Study Finds Natural, Cyclic Climate Change

A new study published in the journal Science found natural and cyclic climate change may have contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire. In addition to finding that a warmer climate helped the empire to thrive at one point, the study also inadvertently reveals a buried truth: climate change has been occurring long before modern industry ever arose–an “inconvenient” fact for anthropogenic global warming enthusiasts.

A Liberal Explains Global Warming Science

A Liberal Explains Global Warming Science

Once again Robot Theater helps us to understand how liberals can buy into the silly idea of anthropogenic global warming. It’s easy to see why the number of people who buy this bunk is falling–down to somewhere around 30% of Americans now. Of course, it’ll probably never get down to zero; some people simply lack the intelligence to employ analytical skills, especially when emotionalism is so much easier than dealing with facts.

Cap and Trade Huckster

Cap and Trade Huckster

While campaigning for the GOP nomination for President in 2007, Mike Huckabee said that “[w]e have a responsibility to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, to conserve energy, to find alternative forms of energy that are renewable and sustainable and environmentally friendly.” Huckabee continued by stating support to Bloomberg for an “economy-wide `cap-and-trade’ system to control greenhouse gases.” Fast forward to present-day 2010, and Huckabee is singing a different tune.

U.S. Govt Declares All-Out War on a Hoax

U.S. Govt Declares All-Out War on a Hoax

While most of America has already figured out that the whole anthropogenic global warming hysteria is nothing but a hoax, the Obama Administration continues to go full-tilt at ever-increasing speed to pay homage to this socialist scam. It isn’t just the EPA waging war on this nonexistent threat, but also the Department of Homeland Security and even the Justice Department.

When More Green Makes You Poorer

When More Green Makes You Poorer

Once again the young and intrepid Steven Crowder does what the “mainstream” media finds itself incapable (unwilling?) to do: investigate hysterical governmental claims. Crowder went to the enviro-confab in Cancun, Mexico, where the greenies went this year to toil in the same level of austerity they plan to impose on we the little people. (Actually, the only austerity seen in the Cancun area was practiced by the regular people–the kind of people who already live in the kind of world the socialist greenies want to impose on the rest of us)

Global Warming Confab Brings a Record Chill to Cancun

Global Warming Confab Brings a Record Chill to Cancun

Record cold weather in Cancun of all places sure puts a damper on the credibility of socialists who desperately want to redistribute our wealth based on the hoax of anthropogenic global warming. With science, history, common sense and even the daily weather conspiring against the global warming enthusiasts, I’m almost tempted to feel a little sorry for them. Almost.

Weather Refuses to Cooperate With AGW Enthusiasts

Weather Refuses to Cooperate With AGW Enthusiasts

David Rose at the British Daily Mail points out some inconvenient truths about the anthropogenic global warming hoax. It’s a real bummer when you’re trying to convince 6 billion people that their efforts to live a better life are causing our planet to heat up dangerously…and the darned weather won’t cooperate at all with your propaganda.

Full-Scale Noah's Ark Planned in Kentucky

Governor Steve Beshear of Kentucky and Answers in Genesis recently announced a partnership between AiG and Ark Encounter to build a full-scale recreation of Noah’s Ark in northern Kentucky not too far from AiG’s $27 million, 70,00 sq. ft Creation Museum. In addition to a full-scale ark, the 800-acre complex will include a replica of the Tower of Babel, a 5-D special effects theater, an aviary, and much more.

Europe Remains Locked in the Freezer, Cancun Hot as Ever

Europe Remains Locked in the Freezer, Cancun Hot as Ever

Blizzard and freezing temperatures continue in Europe: what a wonderful time to go to Cancun and talk about how the earth will be destroyed by global warming if we don’t stop all these evil capitalists and take their money away from them. London’s Gatwick Airport is closed for a second day, and several are dead from the cold in Poland, the Czech Republic and elsewhere.

More Globaloney Blah Blah Blah from Cancun

More Globaloney Blah Blah Blah from Cancun

The latest globaloney pronouncement from the true believers in Cancun claims food prices will rise because evil capitalists are heating up the earth with all their money and freedom. The last I checked–and I grew up on a farm–not too much grows during winter, but as summer comes on and things get hot, crops and all sorts of vegetation grow like crazy. Do global warming enthusiasts have the intelligence of an eggplant…or do they think I do?

AGW Enthusiasts in Cancun Unhindered by Record Cold in Europe

AGW Enthusiasts in Cancun Unhindered by Record Cold in Europe

As global warming bureaucrats meet in Cancun to discuss climate change, heavy snow and subfreezing temperatures hit Western Europe closing airports, delaying trains, and threatening electrical grids in France. The coldest November night in 45 years was recorded in Switzerland as socialists met on the sandy beaches of South America to discuss ways to separate free people from more of their hard-earned money. It can be tough on socialists when reality intrudes on their fantasies.

Global Warming Crew Toils in Austere Cancun

Global Warming Crew Toils in Austere Cancun

Global warming apostles tell us we must cut back, we must ration, we must minimize our use of our fragile planet’s meager resources. After all, if too many of us unwashed peasants use a normal share, there might not be enough left for the elitist socialists in the IPCC and their friends to gorge themselves on luxury. This video shows how the climate warriors lead by example at the climate confab in Cancun.

Global Warming Apostle: Wealth Redistribution Via Climate Policy

Global Warming Apostle: Wealth Redistribution Via Climate Policy

Those of us who don’t take the word of the “mainstream” media as gospel have known for a long, long time that the hypothesis of anthropogenic global warming is little more than an anti-science hoax being pushed by socialists to emasculate the West in general and the United States in particular. But now, as the latest global warming confab takes place on the warm beaches of Cancun, Ottmar Edenhofer, the co-chair of the IPCC working group on mitigation of imaginary climate change, admits what we already knew: that global warming hysteria is just a socialist scheme to redistribute wealth.

What Conservatives Believe: American Exceptionalism

What Conservatives Believe: American Exceptionalism

In the seventh installment of Bill Whittle’s “What We Believe” series on what conservatives and Tea Party patriots believe, the issue of American exceptionalism is examined. America isn’t just a geographical place or the government of America, but the idea of America, the ideas and principles on which our nation and for which it has traditionally stood.

Soros Global Warming Shakedown Aimed at U.S.

George Soros, the radical, far-left billionaire, with a long history of antipathy toward American interests, now sits on a United Nations (UN) panel charged with organizing a $100 billion wealth transfer from the developed world to the underdeveloped world in the name of environmentalism. News of his involvement here is buried away in a New York Times report but it should be the lead sentence.

Yet Another Stem Cell Alternative

Yet Another Stem Cell Alternative

The case for continuing embryonic stem cell research continues to get laughably smaller. Scientists have now developed an even better and faster process for using adult stem cells. Isn’t it time we all admitted the ESCR emperor isn’t wearing any clothes?
