A strikingly higher percentage of Americans believe that the threat posed by global warming is exaggerated, a new Gallup survey found. Nearly half of the public (48 percent) think that the seriousness of global warming is generally exaggerated, up from 41 percent in 2009 and 31 percent in 1997, when Gallup first asked the question. Gallup noted that the percentage of Americans who believe global warming is generally overblown is the highest on its record. Read more »

This is a nice video which puts recent planetary warming in perspective with temperatures of the last few hundred years…and the last few thousand years. When we examine the historical record, any warming that may have been occurring recently (and appears to have leveled off) is pretty tame. Claims of climate doom are nothing but a hysterical hoax. The apostles of the religion of anthropogenic global warming are getting pretty spooked. The Washington Times reports on some private emails they’ve obtained access to, the climate “scientists” (and I use the term very loosely) at the National Academy of Sciences are plotting to try and create a smokescreen to cover their multiple, crippling embarrassments over the past several months.
