Democrats focus on race and skin color in order to keep people divided. In addition to destroying patriotism and a national “team spirit,” this works well as a “divide and conquer” strategy. Contrary to the bleating of American liberals, the Left’s concern is not for the welfare of the poor, uneducated, illegal aliens; their concern is for their own political power in Washington.

South Dakota’s 2011 legislative session is now a little over a week old. Making up the budget deficit is still the big issue even though the exact amount of revenue shortage isn’t nailed down yet. Governor Daugaard has said there won’t be any new taxes. There is also rumor that some lawmakers may try to write in a couple of exemptions into the smoking ban law. Some legislators want a state immigration law. And even the abortion issue could surface again. But each issue has its detractors.

With South Dakota already facing a budget deficit and revenue from video lottery down due to the smoking ban, making ends meet will be a hot topic when the legislature meets soon. But there may be other issues as well: abortion, illegal aliens, Shariah law and more.

Once again, congress needs to hear from the American people–and hear from us loudly! This weekend, the Leftists in our government plan to push forward with their goal of forcing open homosexuality on the U.S. military, and with the illegal alien amnesty bill they call the DREAM Act. CBS News reports they plan to debate these issues Saturday and vote on them as early as Sunday or Monday.

The Politico reports Mike Huckabee is upset that he isn’t getting enough attention, and is rumbling more and more in the direction of a 2012 presidential run. Anyone with a shred of decency and capacity for self-evaluation who had Huckabee’s record would not waste our time on running for president…or anything of any importance. Conservatives don’t need the distraction of a “pro-life liberal” to deal with.

The Leftists in congress are trying to do as much damage as possible to our country during the lame duck session before Republicans take control of the House in January. One of their dark designs is the pro-illegal alien DREAM Act which seeks to give amnesty and special benefits to children of illegal aliens, and provide an incentive and avenue for even more illegal aliens to invade our country.

In Bill Whittle’s continuing series on what conservatives/Tea Party people believe, this topic looks at immigration, specifically illegal immigration. The Left loves to demonize the Tea Party as being racist, so the fact that most Tea Party people are opposed to illegal immigration (the largest source of which is from Mexico) plays right into that, correct? Well, not really. It can be painful for people on the Left, but let’s look at the facts.

There seems no end to the nefarious intentions and egregious actions coming out of Washington, no end to the bad news about what these guys are up to. Immigration cases are being dismissed by the hundreds across the country. These illegals are being groomed to be a permanent Democrat underclass voting bloc.

It’s hard to imagine how the American public’s opinion of Congress could get much worse than it is already, but last week, Representative Zoe Lofgren tested this notion when she invited Comedy Central comedian and faux pundit Stephen Colbert to testify on Capitol Hill. This bizarre and inappropriate stunt leaves little doubt that many politicians in Washington are out of touch, and in serious need of a reality check.

Need another reason to throw these worthless Democrat socialists out of congress in November? You probably don’t, but you can add anyway the joke Democrats have made of our government and our nation’s laws by inviting a comedian to “testify” at congressional hearings on illegal immigration and make a joke of the issue.

The Mexican government is building a wall along the Mexico Guatamala border. Apparently it is perfectly fine for Mexico to do what that country has repeatedly castigated the United States for doing. Of course, in the liberal lexicon of class envy, it’s perfectly alright.

I knew liberals were good at creating their own fantasies and then insisting they constitute reality, but I am continually amazed at their ability to do this. For instance, according to President Barack Obama, the year 1810 came “long before America was even an idea” in 1776 or earlier.

Phoenix area community colleges are under fire by the lawless Obama Administration which insists that not only should the federal government refuse to do its job, the states and local authorities must also join them in refusing to enforce the law. This administration is hell-bent NOT to enforce the laws of our country.

It seems the Democrats/socialists in Washington D.C. are in a full court press to ignore the law they are sworn to uphold and allow illegal aliens free access to and rein of our country. From suing Arizona for trying to protect themselves, to draft memos about backdoor amnesty, and now dismissal of many illegal alien court cases, our government is determined to NOT enforce the law.

We know our federal government is suing Arizona for the “right” to ignore its responsibility. We also heard recently about a memo being circulated between government bureaucrats looking for a way to implement backdoor amnesty for illegal aliens. Now another such memo has surfaced, intended to force local law enforcement authorities to ignore the law.

Much has been written about the harm that illegal aliens cause to Americans, legal aliens, hospitals, governments, and others in the U.S. In this article, we see how the illegal alien problem harms America’s senior citizens.

Truly, our country is currently being run by a group of enemies of America; there can be no question about it to anyone with even one eye half-open. And at the head of the treacherous pack is Barack Obama, a man without an ounce of class.
