Obviously no one should judge another’s character based on a disability, or on any other trait that’s merely physical. The problem is that people frequently take whatever quality stands out in their lives, even a fundamental character flaw or deep behavioral problem, and make it the center of their identity.
The number of West Nile virus cases has gone down in the past few years, but that certainly is no guarantee it will stay that way. This is especially true this summer with South Dakota almost smothered by water, the perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. Fourteen South Dakotans died in 2003. They were among the 1,039 who were infected that year. There were only 20 people had positive tests for the virus last year, with no deaths reported. What the report will be for this year is anyone’s guess, said Lon Kightlinger, South Dakota’s state epidemiologist.
Remember a couple of days ago when I talked about all the waivers that unions and FOOLs (Friends Of Obama and Other Liberals) are getting so they can get out of the unconstitutional socialist ObamaCare scheme they want to force on the rest of us? Crossroads GPS has a new ad out, asking the same question. If ObamaCare stinks this bad (and it truly does), let’s give the entire country a waiver and ditch this horrible idea.
TSA estimates of the radiation from full-body scanners only consider the radiation as it would be if absorbed by the whole body, as opposed to how the scanner really operates, which is to concentrate the radiation on the skin. Several scientists claim that the body scanners have not received a proper medical review using “key data” which would allow for a proper understanding of the medical impact of the technology which they believe could cause mutations and skin cancer.
Rapid City’s local dope peddler Bob Newland is planning a deceptive rally for tomorrow in support of legalizing “medical” marijuana, but he made it clear that supporters should not use words like “marijuana” and “legalize” on their signs. This might get voters thinking too much about what they’d really be supporting if they vote for South Dakota’s Initiated Measure 13. Newland and other supporters want voters to think of anything but what the “medical” marijuana initiative is really about.
Dr. Mick E. Vanden Bosh brings out some good points concerning the push in South Dakota by drug advocates to use the “medical” marijuana issue to advance the legalization of recreational drugs: “Isn’t it incoherent for South Dakotans to be voting on banning the smoking of cigarettes in bars and restaurants because of its great health risks, while also asking them for permission to smoke a more dangerous drug?”
South Dakota will vote later this year on legalization of marijuana for “medical” use. Advocacy for the legalization of marijuana, for “medical” use and otherwise, continues unabated despite growing evidence of the harm of this substance. The American Journal of Psychiatry and a lecture at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Center point to some of the latest evidence of the link between pot and psychosis.
The reasons homosexuality is incompatible with military service are manifold. They are firmly rooted in both common sense and in the “settled” anthropological, sociopolitical and medical sciences, as well as the theological arena. Taken alone, each provides ample justification for maintaining the status quo. Combined, they prove the case. For now – in the interest of brevity – we’ll focus on but one: medical science.
An official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the CDC’s estimate Monday that in the United States AIDS is fifty times more prevalent among men who have sex with men (‘MSM’) than the rest of the population. Dr. Amy Lansky revealed this statistic during a plenary session at the 2009 HIV Prevention Conference in Atlanta.
Though homosexual activists and apologists have for some time claimed that homosexuals cannot change and that reorientation therapy is actually harmful, an epic study of restorative therapy for homosexuals indicates otherwise. Even the APA is backing off of claims of biological or genetic causes of homosexuality. There is no reason not to extend help to homosexuals who want to change.
Research from multiple sources finds a very high correlation between childhood sexual trauma and adult homosexual behavior, in both men and women. This sexual disorientation from normal heterosexuality, like any disorientation, can either be embraced or corrected, depending on the will of the one disoriented.
Though the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Massachussetts Department of Public Health and numerous other sources have long compiled data showing the tremendous health risks associated with homosexual behavior, most homosexual activists vehemently deny these hazards and dismiss them as religious propaganda. But now a Canadian pro-homosexual group called Canadian Rainbow Health Coalition has admitted […]

I saw this at the Gay Christian Movement Watch yesterday. It’s very disturbing…and very important for people to know about it. The goals of homosexual activism have seen some critical defeats in the last year…but they have also seen some important successes. In Iowa, yet another case of blatant judicial activism has “legalized” the practice […]
John W. Whitehead It was an eerie scene at Aztec Stadium in Mexico City, as teams America and Tecos played in a nearly empty stadium. Normally, the 100,000-seat facility, one of the largest in the world, would have been packed with soccer enthusiasts. But under orders from the Mexican government, it has been closed to […]
It didn’t take long for the Left to start blaming President George W. Bush and congressional Republicans for the swine flu. But then, we should have known it wouldn’t. When President Bush was in the White House, we saw liberals blame him for everything from global warming to the belligerence of Iran. He could have […]
Reprinted by permission of the Christian Post By Audrey Barrick Christian Post Reporter Wed, Apr. 01 2009 09:12 AM EDT Confirmation hearings for Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Kathleen Sebelius opened on Tuesday much to the disappointment of pro-lifers who want the Kansas governor’s abortion record spotlighted. President Barack Obama originally nominated pro-abortion Tom Daschle to be his Secretary of Health. However, Daschle’s nomination went down in flames because of his failure to pay his taxes. Now Obama has nominated pro-abortion Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius for the position. Sebelius is firmly in the camp of pro-abortion forces and has worked very had […]
LifeSiteNews reports on a new attempt to indoctrinate your children in the public schools: homosexual activists are making significant inroads in US schools, as a booklet titled, “Just the Facts about Sexual Orientation and Youth,” is set to be distributed to all 16,000 school districts in the country. The 24-page booklet by the National Education […]
