The Ameican people have very strong views when it comes to issues dealing with the sanctity of human life. Judge Royce Lamberth recently exposed President Obama’s embryonic stem cell research executive order for what it really is: a thinly-veiled, ideologically motivated attempt at an end run around the Constitution. What would you say if you heard the head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies was an environmental extremist so radical that he would support ridding the world of industrial civilization? What would you say if I told you it was true, and you could see it with your own eyes? Read more »
There are certain issues in life that are non-negotiable, no matter how seductively the siren song of “compromise” may beckon. We understand that the way of Washington, particularly in the game of politics, is to “go along to get along.” However, at some point a line must be drawn. Read more »
Kitty Werthmann survived seven years under Nazi rule in Austria and the difficult years after World War II before coming to the United States in 1950. She sees many parallels between how the Austrians lost their freedom, and many of the disturbing trends in the United States recently. She gave a speech in Rapid City outlining her concerns. Have you ever wondered why so many people are gravely concerned in the current health care “reform” debate that the old and the infirm will be killed off by a state-controlled health care system? Maybe because it’s already happening in socialist health care systems around the world? Read more »
The Washington Times has examined the Baucus senate health care bill and confirmed it contains an apparatus to ration health care that gets “too expensive.” If you like the idea of socialized medicine, you’d better be feeling lucky. Read more »
One of the reasons President Obama uses to justify a government health care system is that insurance companies sometimes deny coverage for routine tests. Yet Medicare–a government health care system–routinely denies coverage for such things. Read more »
Tonight President Barack Obama lied on the floor of the House to the American people about his plans for socialized medicine. He was also called out by members of congress from the audience for telling these brazen lies. Read more »

The British Telegraph features an article about patients under Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) wrongly determined to be close to death…and thus prime candidates to be written off by the government health care system. When Americans can look around the world and see the myriad of problems that come with socialized medicine, it’s no wonder so many of them are saying “Not on your life!” to Obamacare. Read more »
Dr. Stephen E. Fraser, M.D. read the entire Health Care Reform Bill (H.R. 3200) and wrote a detailed letter of objections to Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana. Animal rights activists are livid because unwanted male chicks at an egg hatchery were ground up alive at the facility. Yet we frequently employ procedures on live human beings that would seem to be far less humane.

The “state run media” and liberal blogs were aghast a few weeks ago when Rush Limbaugh took the time to point out that the acronym NAZI is short for National Socialism (Nationalsozialismus), a political and economic movement lead by Adolf Hitler; and that a head to head comparison of Nazi beliefs and actions matched best with the modern American Democrat Party. For years commentators and authors have alluded to the Nazi movement as “right wing“ and to the average American… Read more »

The alarm that Sarah Palin raised with her report of “death panels” in HR 3200 (and they are there!) seems a little more credible when we consider what the VA has been telling veterans for several years. In a none-too-subtle booklet vets are lead to consider whether “life is worth living” and to make decisions about end-of-life care that could shorten their lives, in some cases quite prematurely. Don’t we owe our veterans better? Don’t Americans deserve better? Read more »
Socialists in congress and the White House are still trying to get us to believe that government health care isn’t going to result in them being rationed out of health care or pushed (gently or not-so-gently) into euthanasia. But in Oregon, the “death panels” are already impaneled…and ready to dispense death. Read more »
The senior citizen/AARP bloc has always been a reliable source of support for Democrats. But with the advent of Obamacare, the certainty of rationing and likelihood of soft-euthanasia, suddenly the elderly are fleeing the government reservation in droves. Don’t give government bureaucrats a chance to put you on their kick-the-bucket list. Read more »
Americans concerned over the possibility of euthanasia–direct or indirect–arising from a government health care system are well justified. A BBC report finds 16.5% of deaths in the UK are associated with “deep sedation,” or a form of “slow euthanasia.” Read more »
President Obama claims death panels won’t be calling the life or death shots under a government health care system. However, there are already similar panels making life or death decisions for the sick and disabled. How much more dangerous could this be from a government which already sorely lacks accountability?
