Here’s a great ad that comes to our attention thanks to Dr. Theo by way of The Hayride. Roger Williams is running for the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas, and he has a fine sense of humor. Can a “donkey whisperer” get through to the unruly and errant donkeys on Capitol Hill? Someone needs too…that, or put them out to pasture.
The Marxist Occupy Wall Street tantrum in Portland are attempting to undermine the jobs of their fellow Americans, as well as the access of their fellow Americans to the goods coming through the port at Portland, Oregon. In their efforts to protect their fellow Americans from being contaminated by the free market in Portland, they found it necessary to throw a lit cigarette in the face of a trucker, damage his property, and attempt to drag him from his truck.
Representative Kristi Noem (R-SD) sent a letter to President Barack Obama’s Secretary of Labor flagging a proposed change to regulations impacting children who work on family farms across the United States. Specifically, Noem is concerned with the changes to the definition of a family farm within this new regulation and further restrictions for hiring youth. The proposed rule could seriously undermine traditional family agriculture if the exemption for family farms does not include those partly owned by close relatives.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is warning South Dakota seniors to be cautious if they receive telephone calls from someone who claims to be their grandchild or other family member and requests money for a critical situation. The South Dakota Consumer Protection Division has received numerous calls over the past few days. In this reoccurring scam, a fraudster calls a senior individual and poses as a grandchild. The person calling uses a plea for help and a sense of urgency when asking for a wire transfer in amounts up to $6,500.
Rush Limbaugh went “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren. Limbaugh touches on a number of truths and answers several questions on many people’s minds today: Liberals have to lie about their agenda in order to get elected; Why Limbaugh hopes President Obama fails; The chip on Obama’s shoulder; Does Obama really believe that the nonsense he promotes will be good for America, or is he really an anti-American Marxist who wants to take down America?; Is there only one GOP candidate who can beat Obama?; The GOP establishment believes core Republican values are loser values; and more
Many of you will remember the classic Bee Gees song, “(The Lights Went Out In) Massachusetts.” It was one of their early smash hits from the fall of 1967. That song immediately played in my mind when I read a December 12th email alert from Brian Camenker of Mass Resistance. He reported on what can only be described as an abominable piece of insanity. The Sunday front page story in the Boston Globe reported glowingly on a family with twin boys, one of whom believes he is a girl, and the boy’s parents are going to horrific lengths to encourage his delusion. A re-wording of the Bee Gees song could say that the lights of reason all went out in Massachusetts.
