Far too many South Dakotans didn’t have a happy new year
Alcohol-related crashes are the most preventable on South Dakota’s highways and byways. Why? They never should have happened. Still, there were 61 people killed in our state last year and nearly 700 were injured in such crashes. These numbers certainly didn’t set any records. Yet, they just shouldn’t have happened, but they did.

Time for Rep. Noem to Go to War
As usual, the Rapid City Journal gets it completely wrong. Of course, that was their intent. The newspaper claims that now that Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD) has been elected, it is time for her to stop fighting for the freedoms of the people of South Dakota and just “get along” with those who would take our liberties. No, right now is precisely the time for Rep. Noem to go to war to defend our way of life.
