Republicans are rolling out a plan for $2.5 TRILLION in cuts over 10 years. Yes, that was $2.5 TRILLION. This isn’t the laughable $100 million (out of a $3.6 TRILLION budget) President Obama proposed in 2009; no, this would do more than cut spending by 0.003%. This would eliminate dozens of things the federal government shouldn’t be funding anyway, such as: mohair subsidies, a sugar program, public broadcasting, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, Amtrak, and much more.

ObamaCare was the liberal response to the health care debacle that has been created by too much government meddling already. It was like pumping gasoline to try to put out a fire. But as Republicans voted to repeal ObamaCare in the House yesterday and look to force the repeal to a vote in the Senate, there is another plan on the ground–one that will start to move our health care system back toward the free market model that made America the greatest economic power on earth.

I continue to be astonished as I watch the race hustlers in the black activist community continue to stoke the fires of racial division. One sad case in point is the Martin Luther King Jr. Day rally that was held at the State House in Columbia, South Carolina. The South Carolina NAACP, which organized the rally, went so far at to construct a plywood box, cover it with black cloth, and place it around a statue of George Washington so the statue was out of sight of the rally attendees.

Why should ObamaCare be repealed? Let me count the reasons: it is a bad law that was badly written, it transferred half a trillion dollars in scheduled Medicare benefits for senior citizens and spent that money on other things and other people, it authorized the hiring of thousands of new I.R.S. agents, it caused thousands of children who had health insurance to lose their health insurance in September 2010…and more.

Patriots in Houston, Texas held the Crispus Attucks Tea Party last night; Crispus Attucks was a black American who was killed in the Boston Massacre in 1770. Organizers called it the first “Black Tea Party,” designed to illustrate once again that the Leftist meme that the Tea Party movement is racist is fraudulent. And something very interesting was revealed when a lot of white people ended up attending the event.

The U.S. House of Representatives voted today to repeal the unconstitutional assault on the American way of life known as ObamaCare. The vote was 245-189, with all Republicans supporting repeal and three Democrats coming onboard. Though the repeal faces an uphill climb in the Democrat-controlled Senate, Republicans have a plan to force a vote, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell sounds determined to see it through.

Steven Benson, long-time cartoonist for the Arizona Republic, the paper-of-record for the State of Arizona, saw a rare opportunity with the shootings in Tucson. He realized that the victims at the Safeway could be most useful in promoting himself and his agenda, while getting a couple of good kicks at Sarah Palin to boot.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is in some (more) hot water for calling the Chinese dictator a “dictator.” Did Reid slip up and tell the truth about our debt-managing Chinese masters? Doesn’t he know that after all the loads of cash liberals have borrowed from our communist enemies in China, they really should treat them better than Reid is?

For 2-3 years now I’ve been pointing out that Massachusetts’ experiment with socialized medicine (often known as RomneyCare) has turned out to be the abysmal failure that socialized medicine has turned out to be everywhere it’s tried around the world. While many Christians have been engaged for years in standing up for innocent human life, many churches have been completely silent on the sin of abortion…and some have joined the Enemy. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) went to the floor of the U.S. House yesterday and in just a few minutes exposed the fiscal and economic disaster that is ObamaCare. Last year, the bill left out hundreds of billions of dollars in necessary elements (that were reserved for other, separate bills) so they could make with a straight face the claim that ObamaCare came in under a trillion dollars and lowered the deficit. When you add all the necessary changes back in, you have a $710 billion DEFICIT. It’s time to get rid of this ripoff.

This latest installment of Robot Theater, bear-style, is a great encapsulation of liberal arguments to support how (in their minds) Sarah Palin and other conservatives are responsible for Jared Loughner’s slaughter of half a dozen people in Arizona a couple of weeks ago. There are a number of people out there who through lack of self-education have easily gone along with liberal propaganda; they can be swayed by facts. But the liberal “true believers” are practically drowning in their own Koolaid.

RealClearPolitics calls our attention to an incident on CNN yesterday where guest Andy Shaw was talking with host John King about the Chicago mayoral race and used the term “in the crosshairs” during the discussion. Later King apologized for this vitriolic and violent language…on the network that used to have a news show called “Crossfire.”

Under the stated goal of achieving internet security and consumer convenience, the Identity Ecosystem, as the program has been dubbed, would supposedly streamline the process of doing business online by creating a universal internet ID for each person. This ID would quickly become a de facto national ID, giving the government unprecedented access to Americans’ internet activities.

U.S. House Republicans have scheduled a vote on repealing the unconstitutional government health care program known as ObamaCare tomorrow. But won’t it probably die in the Democrat-held Senate? Not if Republicans are determined to repeal it and play their cards are right. There is a strategy that could tip the balance even among Democrat senators…or make them pay dearly in the 2012 election.

The U.S. House of Representatiaves has scheduled a vote on repealing ObamaCare for Wednesday Jan. 19. It’s time to contact your representative and members of the U.S. House leadership to ensure they know how important the repeal of this unconstitutional legislation is to the American people. It’s time to make sure they know an “Oh well, we tried” vote isn’t going to cut it with the American people. Just as we got rid of many congressmen who didn’t perform for the American people in 2010, we can do it again in 2012.

For over a week now we have endured a daily barrage of propaganda from the Democrats and their Department of Propaganda (otherwise known as the “mainstream” media) telling us that Jared Loughner slaughtered six people and injured many more because Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, the Tea Party movement and other conservatives drove him to. While polls show the American people aren’t buying it, at least the Communist Party USA agrees with them.

The elites in the “mainstream” media told us last week that Sarah Palin had ruined her chances for president in 2012. Yet a new poll reveals that her likeability, believability and sincerity ratings went up after the statement–even among Democrats. What’s more, support for a potential run for president in 2012 also went up after the statement…even among Democrats. The media has torpedoed their own credibility with their latest smear against conservatives.

Democrats focus on race and skin color in order to keep people divided. In addition to destroying patriotism and a national “team spirit,” this works well as a “divide and conquer” strategy. Contrary to the bleating of American liberals, the Left’s concern is not for the welfare of the poor, uneducated, illegal aliens; their concern is for their own political power in Washington.

This isn’t rocket science. We aren’t trying to figure out the orbit perimeters of a sling-shot around the moon to reach Saturn. This is Political Science and Economics: the arcane arts of who gets what, when, and how. We have a video of the town hall meeting in Tucson, Arizona yesterday where Eric Fuller–the man who was one of the shooting victims of Jared Loughner the week before and who on Friday joined the Leftist chorus of faux blame for the shooting against conservatives–made a death threat against a Tea Party leader. Tea Party leader Trent Humphries had been asked by a moderator to speak, and during his statement, Fuller can be heard stating, “You’re dead.”
