First Steps Toward Police State USA?
If Republicans take the House and do well in the Senate in the elections today, there’s a lot of rolling back of legislation–and investigation of Democrats at the highest levels–that needs to start happening. Another reason to make sure we vote out the Democrats is a little nightmare jewel of a bill that should never see the light of day for a vote, and it was featured last Thursday by WorldNetDaily’s Bob Unruh. In mid-July, Charlie Rangel introduced H.R. 5741, the Universal National Service Act. Just the introductory paragraph alone should send chills down your spine.
Noem, Thune, Daugaard Draw 400+ in Rapid City
Republican U.S. House candidate Kristi Noem and her “Road to Restore South Dakota’s Voice” bus tour came to Rapid City this afternoon at the Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn, drawing more than 400 people according to hotel staff and GOP counts. Accompanying her on the bus was Republican South Dakota Lt. Gov. Dennis Daugaard who is running for governor against Democrat Scott Heidepriem, Daugaard’s running mate Matt Michels, and Senator John Thune (R-SD) who is running unopposed this year.

The scene is Beijing, China in 2030. Why do great nations fall? The ancient Greeks…the Roman Empire…the British Empire…and the United States of America. They all make the same mistakes, turning their backs on the principles that made them great. Of course, we owned most of the American’s debt…so now they work for us.
Responsibilities of the Christian Voter
Americans who are Christians and are old enough to vote have some responsibilities tomorrow on Election Day. Don’t stay home and ignore them. Get out and do it. Brush up on what God says about human life, marriage, family, political corruption, property rights and more. Then brush up on where the candidates stand on these issues. Then go vote for the ones who best reflect God’s values.
This isn’t a Recession
After the dust settles, after the confetti is swept up and all the balloons have popped what will the transformed American political landscape look like? Who will be leading and where? Will the recently awakened millions who’ve campaigned to get their country back have anything to show for all their efforts?
South Dakotans should not be bored of Regents’ decision
The presidents of three of South Dakota’s public universities want to build some new sports facilities and the Board of Regents have put the skids to their requests–at least for the time being. And rightfully so. What got my goat in all of this was that their students might be tapped for some of the needed money for those construction projects as well. With South Dakota university students graduating with the largest debt in the nation, isn’t it foolhardy to pump them and their folks for a few more bucks?
