The past two weeks have brought multiple horror stories concerning the new Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security procedures at the nation’s airports. Is this the only way to keep air travelers safe? Isaac Yeffet, the former head of security for El Al, gave an interview recently about the different approach to security taken in Israel. The unions and the politically correct whiner groups won’t like it, but perhaps with the outrage over these invasive new procedures, maybe we can finally take a look at doing security the smart way.

When a government spends money faster than the growth of the economy and then prints the paper currency, as though the Rockefeller Christmas tree is pretty and a mutant money tree, given enough time, hyperinflation can result. That’s the “how”. Here’s the “what” it actually is: suddenly any commodity, food, fuel, and other everyday item costs skyrocket. Items can reach costs that are upwards of ten times their previous value. So what do we do in the face of this very real possibility?
