Analysis Shows Consumer Involvement Key to Reducing Health Care Costs

An analysis done by NCPA looked at overall medical cost inflation and several subsets of health care costs from 1992 to 2008, finding that when consumers pay for health care out of their own pocket rather than have them paid by a third party, costs rise much more slowly. Greater consumer involvement in health care decisions–not less, as ObamaCare engineers–is the key to getting America’s health care system under control.

Air Travelers Now Travel ConAir 2010

The way TSA is now treating air travelers like criminal suspects is wrong, but as Americans we do need a laugh or two as we deal with our oppressive government. Noem was interviewed on Fox News this morning by Gretchen Carlson who referred to her as “the new face of the GOP.”

TSA Backlash Brings the Air Traveler Dignity Act

TSA Backlash Brings the Air Traveler Dignity Act

In the backlash against the federal government’s intrusive and offensive new air travel security procedures, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) has introduced the Air Traveler Dignity Act, HR 6416. Says Paul, “This TSA version of our rights looks more like the ‘rights’ granted in the old Soviet Constitutions, where freedoms were granted to Soviet citizens – right up to the moment the state decided to remove those freedoms.”

Michelle Obama Makes Best-Dressed List

Michelle Obama Makes Best-Dressed List

It has finally spilled over into being just too much for me to not say something. For the past two years I have been keenly aware of the poor taste of Barack and Michelle Obama. I have seen and read how both of them have diminished the office of President of the United States. I have seen how Obama has gone around the world bowing and scraping before despots, needlessly apologizing for our great nation…and now First Lady Michelle Obama has made the Best-Dressed List.
