It’s interesting why behavior that we readily recognize, on an individual level, as undesirable, we routinely promote and accept as government and social policy. What rational person would suggest that being detached from reality is a good thing? But increasingly we live in an environment, created by government driven policies, in which the picture of reality we have is false.

On Tuesday, Muslim barbarians brutally murdered four Israeli civilians on a road that had previously housed an Israeli anti-terror roadblock. The road block, and 18 others, had been removed after demands by the Obama administration. The ambush attack occurred in the West Bank on a road near Hebron. Gunmen opened fire on the vehicle, killing all four people inside, two men and two women, one of whom was pregnant.

Bret Hayworth at the Sioux City Journal indicates Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-SD) got a little wild-eyed a couple of days ago when speaking to a group of about 15 people in North Sioux City on Monday. He says that in six years of covering her on the political beat, he’s never heard her “take any edge” on issues, but at this small gathering she got “revved up.”

Phoenix area community colleges are under fire by the lawless Obama Administration which insists that not only should the federal government refuse to do its job, the states and local authorities must also join them in refusing to enforce the law.
