Marxism, which is socialism, and communism are godless ideologies. The state is the only god, and the state demands servitude of the people. The state is in direct competition with the one true God. Marxism and Christianity are indeed mutually exclusive.

Minister of the European Parliament (MEP) Daniel Hannan has a letter of warning to America, and it’s in his new book The New Road to Serfdom. Hannan is the British politician who was launched into world prominence after he publicly ripped to shreds former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown for his reckless irresponsibility with the government of Great Britain.

The “mainstream” media and others on the Left have, since ignoring the movement failed, long tried to paint the Tea Party movement as radicals, racists, crazies, fringe and out of touch. It isn’t working, because 30% of the general public supports the Tea Party movement and 71% of Republicans do. The GOP establishment would do well to wake up to this reality.

Distrust in the “mainstream” media is hitting record highs as their credibility hits record lows. A new Gallup poll finds the majority of Americans say they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly–a new record of 57%. With a media that has pulled out all the stops to promote liberals and liberalism over the past two years, this should come as no surprise.

What evidence is there that Obama did come to the Christian faith at any time of his life? It seems his only church exposure was 20+ years in the pews of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago where Pastor Jeremiah Wright preached black liberation theology almost exclusively. “Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him.” Cone and Wright never preach about salvation through the grace of Jesus Christ. Obama’s Christian roots seem shallow and twisted.

A recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study on homosexuality exposed the jaw-dropping fact that one-in-five “gay” and “bisexual” men in American cities have been infected with HIV/Aids. Needless to say, this scandalous revelation completely blows out of the water, the left’s morally relative, propagandist line that homosexuality is “normal, natural and good.”

Now this is what we need to see more of: holding these tyrants in black robes accountable for their contempt against the American people. A Tea Party group is moving to oust a Florida judge who rejected a ballot initiative aimed at sparing the state from a key provision in the federal health care overhaul.

Remember Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-NC), the arrogant socialist who assaulted a student in Washington D.C. a few months ago? He’s the one who kept demanding, “Who’re you?” as he held onto a student and grabbed the student’s cell phone away from him. Well, some people from North Carolina have an answer for Rep. Etheridge.

Need any more proof the socialists, er, Democrats in congress are in full panic mode? I didn’t think so, but I’ll give you some anyway. Democrats shot down their own jobs bill, and 47 of them broke ranks with party leadership to call for the extension of the Bush tax cuts. American voter: don’t be fooled!

Understanding motivations can be helpful for those of us who look at liberals and continually ask themselves in amazement: “My goodness, how can an adult, theoretically intelligent human being do that or say that?” The answer to understanding why liberals do the things they do lies in emotion and religion.

The Alliance Defense Fund has announced that pastors from approximately 100 churches nationwide participated in the Alliance Defense Fund’s third annual Pulpit Freedom Sunday on Sept 26. These pastors did what an unconstitutional 1954 tax code provision says they shouldn’t do: preach a sermon related to biblical perspectives on the positions of electoral candidates or current government officials.

November 2nd, 2010 is the day of the dead. No, I’m not talking about Dia de los Muertos in Mexico. I’m talking about Election Day in the United States. I know that on the left there will be a record turnout of dead voters, fake voters, multiple voting voters, illegal alien voters and whatever other kind of fraud the left can scheme up.

By asserting that the police can constitutionally sneak onto a private driveway without a warrant and stick a GPS tag on your car so that they can remotely track you, the Ninth Circuit didn’t necessarily break any new ground. Rather, they merely confirmed what we have suspected all along: that the concept of private property is dead and along with it, the right against unreasonable searches and seizures once protected by the Fourth Amendment.

Sometimes a poll comes along that clearly illustrates the hazards of ignorance…and of public officials who respond to ignorance. Such a poll is one that shows overwhelming belief that more funding equals better education. Meanwhile, reports of per-pupil spending versus academic results could not be more clear: spending does not dictate academic performance.

As states like South Dakota consider legalizing “medical” marijuana and California considers legalizing pot altogether, we are forced to consider facts about drug use that we may not have pondered since the war on drugs of the 1980s and 1990s. Are we committed to a safe, healthy society…or are we ready to wave the white flag as drugs wage war on our family and friends?

“It is clear concern is growing about the relationship between Rep. Herseth Sandlin and her lobbyist husband…Is she influenced by Max’s income as a lobbyist? Well that’s the $13 million dollar question,” said SD Republican Party Chairman Bob Gray.

In “The Islamization of Paris” we see how Islam begins to assert itself in a Western democracy once they have the numbers. They will use every virtue of freedom to reach the ultimate point when they can eliminate freedom all together and implement Sharia law. Here in America we have an administration and a ruling party that have done all they can to advance the cause of Islam. If Obama were a Muslim, how do you suppose he would have acted differently?

False consciousness can most assuredly warp the perceptions and shape the world view of those molded and captured by a social elite. Progressives have created a generation of Americans who hate the capitalism which has given them the prosperity to attend their classes and the limited government which has allowed them the freedom to advocate for the end of freedom.

On September 23, 2010, the initial parts of the Health Care Reform law took effect. Just before that date, tens of thousands of children around America lost their health insurance because of stupid and irresponsible wording in the new Health Care Reform law. The new Health Care Reform law caused tens of thousands of sick children to lose their health insurance because the law was written, pushed, and passed with stupid and irresponsible wording.

Besides voting for our favorite candidates in the Nov. 2 General Election, there are four ballot issues we must decide on as well. Already discussed were “medical” marijuana and a smoking ban. Today we look at Constitutional Amendment K, the right of an individual to vote by secret ballot, and Constitutional Amendment L, relating to how the proceeds of the sale of the state cement plant should be spent.
