So, what on earth does the radical, pro-homosexual, activist judiciary have to do with the despicable Black Panthers? Plenty. Both despise the truth of God’s Word. Both are part of the enemy within America. Both are focused on tearing down America’s Constitution, traditions and way of life, and in the case of the Black Panthers, our very life itself.

Given their oratory on civic involvement, it is easy to understand why the Department of Justice found nothing intimidating about Black Panthers standing in front of the doorways of polling stations with night sticks.

A great deal of American history has fallen victim to the liberal socialists who have been in control of America’s education system and media for decades. Liberals understand that it is much easier to get the American people to go along with a radical new future that departs from our founding values…if they are misled about those founding values and events in the first place. Our textbooks and classrooms are filled with whitewash and revised history, and it has to stop.

Based on an 18-month study which found at least 341 votes by convicted felons in a Democrat-dominated area, it seems Democrat Senator Al Franken owes his U.S. Senate seat to the votes of convicted felons; Franken beat Republican Senator Norm Coleman by only 312 votes.

There was a time when Americans would have been hard pressed to contain their outrage. They certainly wouldn’t have tolerated such governmental corruption and abuse. But we are no longer the people we once were. From an early age, we have had lessons about conformity and acquiescence to the state drummed into our heads. We have allowed ourselves to be easily placated by technological distractions and entertainment spectacles—including political spectacles.

A new study out by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) finds the opposite of what government health care proponents have claimed: the uninsured are not clogging America’s emergency rooms. Rather, those on “free” government health care are utilizing ER services at rates much greater than the uninsured or the insured. The more government involvement in health care, the worse things will get.

If history doesn’t help us in the world today it’s useless. We might as well study tea leaves if we can’t learn from the past to live in the present and shape the future. If we don’t learn the lessons of history, one day we’ll wake up to hear a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen, Babylon the great is fallen!”

At least one newspaper in South Dakota rejects allegations of being liberally biased…yet claims Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin reflects South Dakota values. Does that really add up in a state as conservative as South Dakota, when Herseth Sandlin votes with her liberal party over 90% of the time, and with San Francisco liberal Speaker Nancy Pelosi 84% of the time? I think some journalists are trying to pull my leg, don’t you?

This is a poignant reminder of the debt of gratitude we owe to those who have fought to keep us free–past, present and future. That is something we should never take lightly, or for granted, or forget.

A bill recently passed by the Arizona Legislature and signed into law by its governor, Jan Brewer, continues to make the headlines across the country. It authorizes police officers who have stopped someone in connection with another possible violation to check the citizenship of anyone they believe might be in our country illegally. At last count, 20 or so states are considering similar laws that, in effect, outlaws illegal aliens within their borders.

Too often, I encounter thoughtless Christians who, frankly, know little or nothing about what they believe and why they believe it and, worse, have little interest in changing their condition. I am not sure they ever even give these larger questions a second thought. Instead their faith, it seems, is often based on a common set of popular assumptions that fall under the banner of Christianity with which they agree. In other words, they believe in God, Jesus, the Bible, conservative values, and so on, but they scarcely know or demonstrate how these beliefs should impact their lives.

Back in 2008 on election day, Black Panthers were stationed around voting precincts in Philadelphia. They stood in front of the door of the voting location, and in at least one documented incident, brandished a night stick. There were also allegations of racial comments being made by the Panthers and other intimidating language. That case was easily proved and a finding of “guilty” was reached in the DOJ…before the case was suddenly ordered dropped a couple of months ago. Now explosive allegations of corruption in the DOJ are coming out.

Do we have what it takes to stop the corruption, recklessness, and greed that threaten to destroy our country? Are we willing to make the tough decisions necessary to regain our strength, or will we continue to plow obliviously ahead while our nation descends into economic insolvency and geopolitical vulnerability?

The biggest problems our country has today relate to government planning gone awry. The huge solvency problems we have with Social Security and Medicare all relate to assumptions these government planned systems were built on that turned out to be false. Freedom is about humility not hubris. Our nation’s current problems reflect the latter.

New Jersey is looking at privatizing a number of government services including car inspections, state parks, certain hospitals and education programs. This is a move in the right direction, one in line with the enumerated powers, limited government philosophy of America’s founders, as well as the federal and most state constitutions.

A new poll by Democracy Corps found that in addition to Republicans leading the generic ballot with likely voters 48-42%, 55% of those surveyed believe President Barack Obama is a socialist. So what’s wrong with the other 45%?

The federal government is suing Arizona for attempting to do what the federal government, by law, is supposed to do but won’t do. This is like a bad joke, but it’s deadly serious.
