Rush Limbaugh has long joked about and played audio clips illustrating the fact that the “mainstream” media frequently seems to be reading from the same talking points when it comes to elevating their favored liberal politicians and demonizing conservative ones. Now the “Journolist” scandal reveals this media collusion to protect the Obama campaign from scrutiny.
For those who are advocates of clean, renewable energy, the sun couldn’t shine brighter on solar panels. Yet it still only accounts for 0.02 percent of net electricity generated in the U.S. The use of solar to create electricity is not a bad idea. But the federal government creating a false market using taxpayer’s money is. Just because the federal government thinks it has a bright idea, doesn’t mean the sun shines on it 24 hours a day.
The NAACP has gone on the offensive against the Tea Party movement, and instead of actually engaging in thoughtful, intelligent debate and presenting solid arguments against the Tea Party’s strong platform, all the NAACP can come up with is their baseless, playground, name-calling resolution claiming the Tea Party is a “racist” movement. The bottom line here is that we’re done being pushed around so easily. There’s too much on the line for us to give in to these bogus cries of racism.
There is definitely less tension with Russia now that the Soviet empire has crumbled. Yet belligerence from Russia has been ongoing almost as long as the communist regime has been gone. Meanwhile, former senator Tom Daschle expects America to throw caution to the wind in a new nuclear arms treaty with Russia.
Democrats have a new election strategy they hope can pull their fat out of the fire and save their socialist agenda in 2010: let more convicted felons vote. It’s a pet project of a former member of President Obama’s domestic terrorist Bill Ayers’ group the Weather Underground. If you’re the party that sympathizes with lawbreakers over law-abiding citizens, what else can you do to win elections?
