The Left would have us believe the Founding Fathers were just a bunch of “rich old white guys,” seeking to demean their wisdom, their bravery and their risks in our modern eyes. It is a way of separating us from the ideals of our noble past, so that they can craft an illegitimate future for us. But as this reading from Bob Parks of Black and Right of a piece written by Rush Limbaugh’s father illustrates, they were far from a pampered bunch of elitists who paid no price for independence.
