Citizens for Liberty is hosting a legislative and congressional candidate question and answer session on Friday May 21 at 6:30 pm in the Ramkota Washington Room. Area candidates for the South Dakota Legislature have been invited to attend, and for the U.S. House race, candidates Chris Nelson and Kristi Noem will be featured.

Though Mexican President Felipe Calderon has no qualms about coming to our country and denouncing Arizona’s protection of their border and enforcement of the law as “racist,” he has no problem employing similar “racist” immigration laws in his own country.

Cuba has denounced Arizona for enforcing existing federal illegal alien law. Can anyone see any irony in a free country keeping for keeping lawbreaking invaders out being condemned by a Marxist country that has to use force to keep its citizens in?

Interestingly, Thomas Jefferson–the adopted patron saint of secularists–approved of and attended church services in this government building of government buildings.

Remember recently when the idiot liberals running Los Angeles voted to boycott Arizona for having the audacity to enforce the law that the federal government ignores with regard to illegal aliens? Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce recommends Los Angeles be true to their convictions and boycott the 25% of their power that they receive from Arizona.

Recently, Theresa Artley of Addus Health Care alerted me to the “Aid and Attention Pension Benefit for Senior Citizen Veterans.” Under this program, a firm that provides home care for senior citizens can be paid by the federal government for providing that care to a senior citizen veteran.

After the recent dustup over former KOTA anchor Shad Olson, many people are wondering if KOTA is trying to punish Citizens for Liberty.
