School district officials in Roswell, N.M., said religious discrimination was not a factor in their decision to stop Christian high school students from distributing baby dolls resembling fetuses on campus. The Roswell Independent School District maintained that school regulation does not allow advertising or soliciting on campus. The baby dolls had a card attached to it with a Bible verse and contact information for a local pregnancy resource center.

Once again government health care costs patients time and potentially money. Medicare errors can be costly in time, trouble and money to those who depend on it, and private industry is left to correct their mistakes.

A vote on whether to remove a biology textbook that describes creationism as “the biblical myth” from Knoxville, Tenn., schools was tabled for another month. At the heart of the controversy is a phrase in the book, Asking About Life, that Farragut High School parent Kurt Zimmermann found to be biased towards Christianity. The phrase states that creationism is “the biblical myth that the universe was created by the Judeo-Christian God in 7 days.”

Tennessee and five other states are moving to protect their citizens from having to contribute tax dollars at a state level to pay for abortions under the new unconstitutional federal government health care plan. The federal government is a creation of and servant to the states, yet like a Frankenstein’s Monster it has become a dangerous terror to those it was created to serve.

Gallup–no conservative outfit–released a startling new poll yesterday which looks absolutely ugly for Democrats…and probably some Republicans, too. A record low of only 28% of U.S. voters say congressional incumbents deserve re-election. Gallup says this clearly puts the sitting majority party in a danger zone.

South Dakota and other states are joining Montana in a lawsuit against the federal government for intruding on their sovereignty in relation to firearms manufactured and sold within the respective states. South Dakota passed our Firearms Freedom Act into law just last month. The Interstate Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution only comes into play when regulating, well, as it says, commerce between the states. If guns and ammunition manufactured in a certain state are sold and kept within that state, they do not fall under federal authority.

A Christian nurse says she is “disappointed” after a tribunal ruled that she could not wear her crucifix necklace to work. Shirley Chaplin had gone to court claiming religious discrimination by her employers, the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust, after they banned her from wearing the necklace during shifts, even though members of other faiths were allowed to wear religious symbols.

WikiLeaks recently released an edited video which purported to show “collateral murder” perpetrated by U.S. military forces. In reality, it has 21 minutes of footage cut out which completely removes the context of the battle, along with a de-emphasis of the fact that the targets had weapons including three Rocket Propelled Grenades. When will the Left stop attempting to smear American troops?

Most liberals make the claim that they love America…even as they trash our country, our heritage and our Constitution. They want us to believe that their anti-American attitudes are just a “different view” or a “different interpretation.” So it’s refreshing when we see raw, naked liberalism and the real feelings of the Left for America–like the ones in this video of a recent Leftist protest across from the White House. It isn’t a Tea Party, but somehow the “mainstream” media missed covering this one.

One of the most powerful weapons liberals and socialists have against the truth is ridicule. Don’t let the power of elitist peer pressure dissuade you from finding out the truth. Take a look for yourself and see: are the policies our president and his comrades in congress are pushing on America…are they socialist policies…and are they in harmony with American values and principles?

The U.S. Constitution lays out a plain and straightforward set of requirements for those seeking to be President–just three little things. You would think we would never have a problem with anyone trying to sneak past these points, but I’m sad to say we do. Mr. Obama, where’s the birth certificate?

The U.S. Census Bureau has boosted its efforts of reaching out to the LGBT community, assuring gays and transgender people that they can be “true” to who they are when filling out census forms. Conservative groups, meanwhile, say the bureau is ignoring federal and state laws by allowing same-sex couples to list themselves as married regardless of whether their relationships are legal.

When Rep Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (D-FL) unruly serfs asked her where she got the authority to require them to buy health insurance, she claimed they are not required to do so; they will just be put into a different “tax category.”

After a two-year increase, the teen birth rate in the United States fell 2 percent between 2007 and 2008, according to a new report. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics found there were 41.5 births per 1,000 teenagers aged 15-19 years in 2008. In the previous year, the rate was 42.5.

In an age when politicians slide seamlessly between serving in public office and hosting cable talk shows, Thomas Jefferson might seem patently old-fashioned. Then again, given the apathy and general timidity of the American populace today, perhaps it is we who have fallen out of touch with our radical roots. Certainly, in our American family tree, there is no one more radical than Jefferson.

“Progressives” are like pig farmers. In an effort to bury opposing viewpoints they sling pejorative slop, labeling as “bigot,” “hater,” “wingnut” or “racist” those with whom they disagree. It’s the height of intellectual sloth.

After the Revolution, when it came time to create a government the Framers turned to a written constitution. In the birth of nations this was something new, a unique attempt to limit government in order to preserve liberty. And it’s something we need to preserve and protect.
