On the third anniversary of the Virginia Tech massacre, a pastor dares to ask the question most Christians would rather avoid: Should we fire God?

We have a president loath to acknowledge American exceptionalism. Indeed, the weight of the evidence suggests that our chief executive, through both word and deed and with malice aforethought, seeks to undermine – if not dismantle – that exceptionalism. At one time we properly called such activity anti-American, seditious or even – under certain circumstances – treasonous. Today we call it “progressive.”

The Medicare system is complicated and inefficient. There are numerous examples of its inefficiency, costing the people it supposedly serves a great deal in wasted time and money.

The Rapid City Tax Day Tea Party was once again, for the second year in a row, a great success! We saw very little of socialist interlopers or infiltrators, and the people left the gathering even more fired up over their great country than they were when they arrived.

A new poll by the New York Times and CBS which finds Tea Party supporters are more prosperous and educated than the general public. This is no real surprise, and while liberals will undoubtedly try to spin it negatively, it blows a hole in their lie at patriotic Americans are just ignorant hicks.

Today is the day patriotic Americans will gather by the thousands in hundreds of American cities across the nation to send a powerful message to the big-spending and big-taxing socialists in Washington D.C.: Don’t tread on me! If you are in Rapid City, make sure you get down to the Tax Day Tea Party, even if just for a little while. If you are in another area, find out where the nearest Tax Day Tea Party is being held. Your country is counting on YOU!

Homosexual activists failed to get enough signatures to put on the November ballot an initiative to repeal California’s marriage protection act. It has been more than a year since 52 percent of California voters supported Prop. 8, the constitutional amendment that defined marriage as between a man and woman.

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) denounced the efforts of Democrats in Washington D.C. to replace the values and principles which made America so exceptional with more of a European cradle-to-grave style social welfare state, stating: “We do not want to join the list of other mediocre countries in the world.”

Virginia’s challenge to the health-care bill is not just about buying insurance. It is about the limits of the power of the federal government and its relationship to citizens. Ultimately, it is about liberty itself.

If you were awake during the 2008 presidential campaign and not depending on the “mainstream” media for your information, you probably heard about Barack Obama’s associate and supporter Bill Ayers, the unrepentant domestic terrorist. Ayers is again making news, now for threatening to sue the University of Wyoming for refusing to allow him to speak at the school.

We’re learning more about the Leftist who is behind the most widely publicized plan to smear the Tea Party movement: Jason Levin, a school teacher at Conestoga Middle School in Beaverton, OR who has some rather extreme political views, even though he wants to portray the Tea Party movement as out of touch with average Americans.

Gov. Jindal’s Press Secretary Kyle Plotkin contacted Dakota Voice this morning regarding reports that Allee Bautsch, a fundraiser for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and her boyfriend Joe Brown were brutally attacked leaving a fundraising event because they were wearing Sarah Palin buttons. Plotkin confirmed that Bautsch and Brown were not wearing Sarah Palin pins at the time of the attack, and provided a copy of his recently issued statement on the matter.

Government subsidies for renewable energy projects is a proven way to destroy jobs and hinder economic development. It is time to learn from the mistakes of others before it is too late. “It is lunacy to expect top-down, Soviet-style economic planning to work in America”

It took a hospital and Medicare from March 2008 to February 2010 to process a claim–almost two years! Just think about all the medical bill problems the federal health care system will start to cause for everyone in the not too distant future!

Liberals are planning to infiltrate Tea Party events, improperly obtain and use Social Security numbers of Tea Party patriots, and interfere with the freedom of everyday Americans. Openly Marxist groups are tipping their hand and revealing that they stand in opposition to Americans and their freedom. The more they attempt to smear Americans, the more they reveal about themselves.

We must resist the temptation to reduce our American experiment to an ideology. We cannot allow this bait-and-switch tactic to lead us to the mirage of a collectivist utopia. We need to understand this would deny and distort the constitutionally limited government we inherited.

The so-called Liberal Left once served as the bastion of free speech. However, after decades of championing the First Amendment rights of those with the most deplorable viewpoints, the Left is now doing what it used to accuse the Right of doing. It has traded in its mantle of extreme tolerance for a hammer of intolerance and censorship.

The Left in America has been beside itself over the past year since the efforts of the “mainstream” media to first ignore, then marginalize, then malign the Tea Party movement of patriotic Americans has failed. Now they are planning to infiltrate the Tea Parties and commit bad behavior to try and make the movement look bad. Will the “mainstream” media take the bait?

The modern bully is conniving, vicious, frequently female, and highly narcissistic, driven by social competition and unrestrained by any coherent moral sense. The new bully—I would argue—is the inevitable product of secularization. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Paul Stevens sent a letter to the White House on Friday, notifying the president of his retirement from the Supreme Court. With the stage set for Obama to name a replacement, Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, said it’s likely the president will name a nominee “who will embrace an extremely liberal judicial philosophy.”
