“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!” – Samuel Adams

America, Stop Bending to Muslim Pressure Groups!

Gina Miller

I know I’m far from being the only one who has had it with the cowardice of our political and military leaders who constantly cave and cater to Muslim spokesmen who get enraged when anyone criticizes Islam. Last Thursday, the Army rescinded an invitation to Franklin Graham–the son of Billy Graham–to speak at the Pentagon on our National Day of Prayer. Why did they do this? Because some Muslim advocacy groups, including CAIR, were offended by Mr. Graham stating back in 2001 that the religion of Islam is evil and wicked. And, Mr. Graham is wrong how?

It is disgusting to see, not just “leaders” in our country and around the world, but also people like the producers of South Park and book writers buckle to the ground with the first hint of displeasure from any Muslim group. The fear of offending Muslims is so extreme, that people are backing off and apoligizing for the most ridiculous of perceived offenses to Islamists.

This is our country. It doesn’t belong to the Middle East! Here in America, we are free to express our beliefs and opinions. Groups like CAIR certainly hope to remove the freedom we have to criticize their evil religion, and they have been doing a pretty good job of it, so far. But, it’s astonishing that anyone at all would even give CAIR the time of day after more than a dozen of their officials have been investigated for terrorism ties, and CAIR itself was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a twelve million dollar terrorism funding trial. CAIR is no friend of our country, to say the least.

Of course, there is never any outrage at all when Christianity is attacked and insulted on a daily basis in the media and Hollywood, in our colleges and elsewhere. The double standard is staggering. The daily anti-Christian vitriol that comes out of the mouths of leftist commentators and is shown in television shows and movies is just another usual day at the office, but let just one cartoonist depict Mohammed with a bomb in his turban, and the entire Muslim world erupts in murderous, wild-animal hysterics.

America has always been a country of religious freedom. In theory, you can practice whatever religion you like as long as you’re not breaking the law. But, when it comes to Islam, we’re talking about a different ballgame. Franklin Graham is right. Islam is an evil and wicked religion. This is not meant to disparage ordinary Muslims, because I believe they are poor slaves to this political-religious ideology. I’m talking about the religion itself and the Muslim masters that wield Islam like a power tool.

September 11, 2001 attacks in New York City: View of the World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. (Source: National Park Service)

Islam’s treatment of women alone should be enough to make it illegal in America, not to mention the way the Islamists assert themselves through murderous terrorism! Islam is no ordinary religion, and I don’t care who is offended by what I say! Remember! September 11, 2001–nearly 3000 Americans were murdered by Islamists who likely shouted to their evil god as they crashed those airplanes into our buildings and into that lonely Pennsylvania field. And, that’s just one example of countless murderous attacks around the world perpetrated by the deluded followers of the false and wicked religion of Islam.

Islam is an enemy to any person or country who does not bow down to its evil tenets. Heck, it’s even an enemy to its own people–Islamists murder more of their own people than they do non-Muslims!

We need to stop giving a rip about offending these backward fanatics who work openly for the destruction of our country. Islamists who are seeking the overthrow of our country and who teach “death to America” in their mosques should be driven from our shores. They have no business in our great land. They must be stopped!

I realize many people fear lawsuits by excessively litigious groups like CAIR. However, we must stand up to them without fear. They are backed by massive amounts of Middle Eastern money for the very purpose of spreading their detestable Sharia law like a cancer in our country. If enough people would fight back and not give in to their insane demands, they would eventually be hobbled. As it is, pretty much all they have to do is send an email or issue a press release, and the target of their displeasure crumbles like a dry cookie.

We must grow a backbone. We’re Americans, and we don’t have a history of being pushovers in the face of bullies, although that is obviously changing. It’s not too late to turn back the politically correct tide of kissing the ring of the Muslim “advocacy” groups. But, it’s going to take all of us standing strong in the face of irrational, anti-American and unconstitutional Muslim opposition to our way of life.

And, it’s not too late for the Army to take back its stupid, cowardly decision and return Franklin Graham to his invited position as speaker at the Pentagon for our National Day of Prayer.

I think we started off on the right track with the Boston tea party. They were taxed enough already! They had the backbone to rebel too! And rebellion is sometimes a good thing. In this day and time it seems as though if you speak out for what is right like you’ve just done, Gina, this government will use this to get more control by making us all look like racists! Good grief. The Christians set a good example by not being offended by the put downs. That shows what kind of people Christians are. They are fearless and know that God is in control. The muslims are shaking in their boots if they even wear boots. Most of the fear is because they know here in America it will be very tough to cram their religion down our throats. This country was founded on Christian values and as far as I can tell the founding fathers were Christian. I pray for the poor enslaved Muslims. They are enslaved by evil forces, I believe.
I think the point here is to praise God and our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ that we still have FREE SPEECH! And that we hope to keep it that way. Noone wants to be enslaved to the government even a Christian one which would never happen. America is about freedom of choice in religion and more. Let there be “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness!”
Thanks for the guts to speak out, Gina!

  • John

Justin is absolutely right. It’s is a disgusting article written by an Islamophobic bigot. Shame on you!

  • richard

so how do you fight the politically correct and army policies??? i see the problem but whats the solution???

  • http://www.beachbanter.com/ DanielSC

    Amen!

  • Justin

Calling the world's second largest religion “very wicked and evil” is not valid criticism of Islam; it is religious bigotry tantamount to racism; it is inciting religious hatred and harassment towards fellow American citizens. Your article is filled with crass, bigoted stereotypes and prejudice about Islam and Muslims. Your call to make Islam “illegal” shows that you are a similar to the racist fascists in Europe, and you do not really believe in human rights or freedom.

  • Brian Rutledge

    Gina

I think you are confusing two separate issues. Yes we should be able to critcise Islam or Christianity or Judaism without being threatened or caving in to these threats. But our Constitution guarantees that any and all religions are welcome here. Are you not aware that many Muslims do not subscribe to the 'evil' parts of Islam of which your refer. Christians and Jews do not subscribe to much of the Old Testament when it speaks of stoning etc.

Thousands of Muslims who don't subscribe to 'evil' Islam have served in our miliary and many have died for America, just as thousands of Jews and Christians who don't subscribe to the stonings of the Old Testament have died for our country. The military can't be seen as promoting a Franklin Graham or any person who claims that the personal religion of its fighting men and women is evil .

You might want to reread some of the Old Testament laws given to the Jews by God which they and Christians no longer accept or follow and realise that many Muslims do not accept the 'evil' parts of Islam to which you refer. That is why the military can not allow Graham to speak and tell the parents of a Muslim who practiced Islam and died for our country, that their and theri sons or daughters religion is evil.

  • dcm

And just how many *Christian* suicide bombers do you hear about?

  • dcm

Except that Islam doesn't have a “New Testament” which has resolved & completed the parts which are “no longer accepted or followed.” Unlike a Muslim, a Christian doesn't have to ignore any part of his holy book as being arbitarily inapplicable.

  • Brian Rutledge

    dcm

I see your point. You are saying then it is those of the Jewish faith and Islamic faith that have to ignore part of their holy books that deal with issues like stonings etc. Wonder then how people would feel if Graham also pronounced Judaism evil for it's books comments on stonings and the like

  • WXRGina

Ummmm… Actually, it's the Islamists that don't believe in human rights or freedom. You apparently don't know much about Islam.

Maybe you could enlighten yourself with some of Robert Spencer's reporting at jihadwatch.org. Brigitte Gabriel is also a forceful truth-teller about the realities of Islamism.

  • WXRGina

You poor man. Don't you know the Islamists want to cut your head off?! You are either blind to reality or suicidal.

  • WXRGina

I don't know how to change army policies without changing the leadership. How can that be done?

If large numbers of people in the private sector were to stand unified against CAIR and others, eventually it could affect the military policies as well. We can't wait for the military to act differently, but we have to resist the Islamists in the private sector right now and never stop resisting them.

  • Brian Rutledge

    Gina

” Islamists want to cut your head off ” Gina, I have two dear friends whose religion is Islam and they don't want to cut your head off and like the Jews in our country, don't subscribe to the 'evil' parts of their holy book of Islam of which you refer . People are free to go by all or some of any religion they want to in our country. I would greatly appreciate if you would quit calling my Islamic friends as people who want to cut your head off. Have you talked to them and found out what they, my Islamist friends, believe?

  • WXRGina

Brian, I'm not confusing anything. Freedom of religion was never meant to be used as a license to do whatever you please, like cut off your wife's head or shoot and kill your daughters. Islam is not a legitimate “religion;” it is a political ideology cloaked in religion.

If there are those who do not follow parts of their Islamic “rules,” they are considered apostates deserving of death, so I'm not concerned with the average Muslim. I made it clear that I'm talking about the Islamic leadership and Islam itself. The leadership seeks to impose Sharia law on the world. This is not about religion, it's about political power to subvert the laws of OUR COUNTRY.

  • WXRGina

Brian, I'm sorry that you're missing the point of the article. I stated that I'm not talking about ordinary law-abiding Muslims, even though I believe they are completely deceived (which is another topic).

Who are the people strapping bombs to themselves and walking into crowded markets to detonate them? Who shot and killed 14 soldiers and wounded over 30 others at Fort Hood? Who attempted to ignite explosives in his drawers on a jet coming into detroit on Christmas day? Who has been busted plotting death and destruction here in America?

Or, how about these headlines noted in Marylou Barry's article, “What's the Matter With Muslim Men?” [http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=108145]:

“Sisters Tortured for Leaving House without Permission
Husband Slaughters his Wife and In-Laws for Leaving Him

(U.K.) Mother Stabbed to Death in Front of Child

(Germany) Told to “Get Strict” with Wife, Man Stabs Her in the Eyeballs, Runs Over Her with Car

Pakistani Province Boasts 40 Honor Killings in One Month

First Wife Objects to Polygamous Marriage (Quickly Gunned Down)

Woman Shot for Refusing Marriage Proposal

Man Kills Wife, Daughter, Niece on Suspicion of Loose Character”

  • Brian Rutledge

Gina I guess I don't understand what you mean by 'Islamist'. If you are referring to the political branch of Islam who wants to advance Sharia Law, then I agree that is evil. But let me just again remind you that those, like my friends, also consider themselves Islamists. Maybe you should clarify things by using the term Islamist Jihadist or Political Radical rather than simple , confusing comments like ' Islamists want to cut your head off'

  • Logitech321

Anyone who thinks that Moslems are not determined to rule the world by any means necessary are uninformed.

Remember, Mahomet started out agitating in his home town, was run out, and returned with an army to kill the “Infidels”. He continued this behavior for rest of his life. So did his sons and daughters and inlaws. They also hate each other. (Sunni & Shia) Just one big happy family feud.

The pattern of forced submission to Islam, through violence, has always been their signature.

I can assure anyone that Gina is not Islamophobic. She ain't scared of nobody!

  • Mulder

These cutthroat moslems, don't like America. Are anti-Christian and anti-Women. They need to go back where they came from.

  • Brian Rutledge

Mulder's comment that 'these cutthroat Moslems need to go back where they came from' is a classic. Since Mulder doesn't quantify if he/she is talking about extremists etc, then it leaves one to conclude Mulder might be talking about all Muslims in the U.S. That comment is simliar to Gina's when she commented that 'Islamists are out to cut your throat'. I know Gina has nothing personal against individual Muslims, but when you say 'Islamists want to cut your throat', you are including these individuals, because they consider themselves Islamists.

When general terms like 'Islamist' or ' these Moslems' are used, you are castigating all Muslims whether realised or not.

Our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, even the Treaty of Tripoli signed by John Adams assures and makes clear that the U.S. is not at odds with or at war with any religion. Islam included. I again would like to prevail on people to rail against those people or nations who want to tear us down, but not the religion of Islam or whichever, since our Founders made it clear that it is not in the province of this country to do such things. .

  • ChristopherL34

Christians and Jews are not on worldwide jihads, trying to impose religious law on the planet. So who about sticking to the subject? Not confronting Islam head on is why the problem is now in our backyard.

Also the Bible is made up of stories for those times. The Koran and the actions of Mohammad are to be followed for all time.

  • ChristopherL34

After the Barbary Coast Wars, allowing freedom of religion to Islam was a huge mistake. Just because something is legal, does not mean it is good for America. Or do you support NAMBLA as well?

Muslims that are trying to takeover within the law, are even more dangerous than potential suicide bombers. It is time to end all Muslim immigration.

Gina…..check this guy out, and keep up the good work.

US Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond: Islam is a Beautiful Religion

If you were truly against bigotry, you would stand against Islam.

    005.051
YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.

  • WXRGina

Brian, there comes a time when mincing words is extremely stupid. Since you refuse to see the truth of reality that the Word of God provides, I will tell you, even though you will not accept it, that Islam is a lying, deceitful, and truly evil political-religious force.

Everyone who subscribes to Islam is, at the very least, deceived. At the worst, they are the perpetrators of violent, murderous chaos everywhere they go.

Make no mistake. These people have nothing but hell on their minds. I'm truly sorry that you cannot read the world and American headlines alone and see that Islam is a terrible and evil force in our world.

But, your denial of reality will not change the fact that Islam is the enemy of God and all humanity.

  • Brian Rutledge

    Gina

You could be right about Islam because I admit that I don't know the heart and minds of all of those who claim Islam as their religion. What does appear to be the truth to me is that our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, and things like the Treaty of Tripoli signed by John Adams makes it clear that our government is not and will never be at odds with or at war with ANY religion in and of itself.

You are indeed free to feel however you wish about Islam and maybe I might even agree with you someday, but our government can make no such proclaimations against any specific religion. Our Constitution, which clearly enumerates the governments powers, doesn't give our government the power to be for or against any one religion. That is the point I am making

  • WXRGina

Islam is a POLITICAL ideology DISGUISED in religious garb.

The federal government certainly does have the authority to promote the general welfare by protecting Americans from enemies both foreign and domestic. Violent Islamists are anti-American LAWBREAKERS! You cannot claim that their actions are “protected under the First Amendment.”

It's preposterous to say America has no right to protect itself against Islamic extremists.

  • WXRGina

    Christopher, thank you!

Well, General Hammond certainly has the politically correct talk down pat, just like a politician.

The quote in the article that jumped out at me is the Islamic “leader” guy saying, “The weakness of those programs is that they were informal and occasional,” and they weren't taken seriously enough.

I guess the diversity training was not sufficiently severe for his liking.

These people like General Hammond are insane or evil–or both.

Logan has a great Churchill quote on the left side of the page:

“Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step…”

  • WXRGina

By the way, are you Mr. Logan? If so, I would like to commend you on your website, Logan's Warning.

  • Brian Rutledge

    Gina

It is your right to believe that Islam is a militant political ideology cloaked in religion and of course the government has the right to protect us from Islamic extremists. But again OUR GOVERNMENT doesn't have the Constitutional power to attack or be enemies or go against any one religion. The U.S. can go after a people, groups of people or nations, but not specific religions, no matter what you and I think about them

It is just the way our country was established and founded—I didn't make the rules, nor if I had been around in the 1780's would I even had the brains or insight to offer anything of value
