U.S. House Candidate Forum in Rapid City

Citizens for Liberty got to meet most of the U.S. House of Representatives candidates at the forum sponsored tonight in Rapid City by Citizens for Liberty. Republican candidates Blake Curd, Chris Nelson and Kristi Noem, as well as Independent candidate B. T. Marking were on hand to share their message and answer questions from the audience. Incumbent Democrat Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth Sandlin was invited to attend but did not respond to those invitations.

The Army rescinded its invitation to Franklin Graham to speak at the Pentagon for the National Day of Prayer over concerns about his remarks about Islam. Army spokesman Col. Tom Collins said Thursday that Graham’s comments about Islam were “not appropriate.”
