Rep. Eric Cantor’s (R-VA) campaign office was shot at last night in the latest report of threatening activity toward members of Congress. Though the lawless actions of many in congress by ignoring our nation’s highest law–the U.S. Constitution–set a reprehensible example, Americans must not sink to their level. We must exemplify the standard of lawful behavior, and remove these oath-breakers from office legally at our earliest opportunity.
President Obama signed an executive order Wednesday to maintain restrictions on federal funding of abortion under the new health care reform law. Still, pro-life groups doubt the effectiveness of the executive order and question President Obama’s sincerity because the executive order was signed behind closed doors.
What happens when a dragon slayer – paid per dragon head – runs out of real dragons to slay? Well, he invents new ones, of course: “Tea Party” conservatives; Evangelical Christians; anti-abortion zealots and anti-gay bigots (read: pro-life and pro-family traditionalists); and, of course, gun-toting, knuckle-dragging 2nd Amendment rednecks.
Both school officials and a lesbian student claimed victories Tuesday when a Mississippi federal court issued a ruling in the highly publicized prom case. The court ruled that the school violated the homosexual’s rights, but denied an injunction to order the school to put the prom back on the calendar.
Conservative radio and television sensation Glenn Beck is encouraging patriotic Americans to be careful and not allow themselves to be set up by the Left, and thus hinder the momentum that is currently underway to oust these socialist usurpers legally from office in November. We must not resort to the example of violence and bad behavior set by the Left.
