Obama Bribes GOP to Support Cap and Tax With Oil Drilling
Have you heard President Obama’s talk the past few days about doing some oil drilling 50 miles off shore? Was your first reaction like mine, wondering what the angle was? Where the hidden poison lay? Well, if so, you had good reason. He’s attempting to bribe gullible Republicans into supporting his cap and trade global warming tax.
New Health Care Lawsuit, Different Angle on Horizon From Utah
About 14 states have already filed a lawsuit to stop the federal government’s unconstitutional government health care plan, but a new lawsuit with a fresh angle may soon come out of Utah. In that state, they already have a health insurance exchange that is lean and seems to be working for them…and they don’t want the federal government to come along and mess up what they’ve done.
Socialist Democrats Already Running from Constituents
It didn’t take long for Socialist Democrats to start running from their constituents who are angry over their passage of the unconstitutional government health care bill. Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) had scheduled an information meeting to try and sell this bad idea to the people, but when about 15 protesters showed up, he canceled the meeting and ran.
Homosexual Activist Receives Recess Appointment
Conservative and Christian groups are increasingly voicing opposition to President Obama’s recent recess appointment of a homosexual activist to his administration. Chai Feldblum, a lesbian Georgetown University Law Center professor, was appointed over the weekend as commissioner on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Los Angeles Backs Off Church Threat
Officials of a city in the greater Los Angeles area confirmed Tuesday that they have rescinded the order for a home Bible study group to either obtain a permit or shut down. After talking to the pastor of Shiloh Tabernacle Church, the city official of Rancho Cucamonga determined that the Friday meetings are only Bible studies and that the group is not operating as a church in a home.
Robot Theater Presents Keith Olbermann
This latest installment of Robot Theater (one of my demented favorites) features Keith Olbermann and Lawrence O’Donnell, two of the “mainstream” media rabid dogs from MSNBC. As Olbermann describes, O’Donnell is an expert at not being petty and arrogant–and he proves this on the show. O’Donnell provides insightful analysis: “Dick Cheney is a liar.” It was not at all petty or arrogant.
Tea Partier Has Chris Matthews for Lunch
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews made the mistake recently of having Tea Partier and radio host Dana Loesch on his show to talk about the Tea Party movement. Matthews played all the usual cards in the liberal deck, but Loesch smacked him and set the record straight at every turn. Guess who probably won’t be back on Matthews’ show again any time soon?
Ratings: Viewers Continue to Reject Anti-American News Coverage
The ratings freefall of liberal propaganda outlets CNN and MSNBC continues while Fox News continues to gain. People just don’t want to hear their values and their country trashed anymore. People were fed up with it long ago, but there was no alternative news source on television until the mid-1990s when Fox News came along. Now Americans can get news without being led to believe their country is the scourge of the planet.
ObamaCare Will Bankrupt the States
One of the central aspects ObamaCare, besides the individual mandate to purchase insurance, is the expansion of Medicaid eligibility to 133 percent of the poverty level. The costs of the Medicaid expansion will be far beyond what anybody has estimated. For states in such fiscal dire straits, like California, New York, Arizona, and others, that is the difference between solvency and insolvency.
Attempt to Resubmit Health Care Freedom Act Fails
When the South Dakota Legislature reassembled yesterday in its final or next-to-final day of the 2010 legislative session, South Dakota State Senator Gordon Howie (Dist. 30) submitted a motion to suspend the rules in order to resubmit SB 137, the South Dakota Health Care Freedom Act. That measured failed on a 14-20 vote.
Government Increasing, Freedom Decreasing
What do all the federal government power grabs of the last year or so add up to? A whole lot of walking on the U.S. Constitution for one thing. And since the Constitution was designed to limit the power of the federal government specifically to protect the liberties of the people from a too-powerful government, these moves beyond constitutional authority threaten our economic prosperity as well as the freedom of private individuals and organizations. But the American people are mobilizing, and hopefully it isn’t too late to turn things around.
The Government of God: An Easter Message
Jesus’ proclamation of the kingdom of God-also known as the Government of God-was a total reordering of both the spiritual and temporal life. Jesus’ teaching on the Government of God, as seen, for example, in the Sermon on the Mount, is that the significance of the rule of God pertains to everything-marriage, money, personal relationships, community life, religion, politics and so on. And although the Government of God is far broader than politics, it has political ramifications.
Prager’s American Trinity
From Dennis Prager: Ask almost any American what’s different about America? Why are American values different, let’s say, than France’s values or Britain’s values or Uruguay’s values or any Democracies values? Is there anything unique about the United States and especially is there anything unique about the American values system? Well in fact it is unique; it’s part of the reason some people speak about what we call American exceptionalism, meaning that America‘s values have been exceptional.
Another Dem Admits: Health Care Bill is Wealth Redistribution
Now that the unconstitutional government health care bill has been passed, Socialist Democrats in Washington are beginning to admit openly what few of them would speak of before its passage: it is about Marxist wealth redistribution. Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) is the latest to confess: it’s about the mal-distribution of income in America.
An Open Letter to the Evil Tyrants in Washington
In all of this, one thing separates us from you. We have hope–true hope. Our hope is in God. Your plans may ultimately succeed, and you will believe you have the victory, but it will be a false victory, temporal and short-lived. Remember, the Japanese though they had scored a great victory at Pearl Harbor.
American Exceptionalism: Endangered, but Alive and Well
There are many–too many–out there who can’t seem to find anything good to say about America. But maybe, just maybe, under the right tutelage, they may join their fellow Americans in resolve to preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, that refuses to sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness, that we will renounce the dark path and set ourselves to the hard but worthy task of remaining that shining city upon a hill.

Howard Dean: ObamaCare is Redistribution
Howard Dean recently admitted on CNBC that ObamaCare is wealth redistribution. Dean discusses the “right balance” between income earners (as it if were somehow legitimately the role of government to decide how much people have–MARXISM) and then says, “…When it gets out of whack as it did in the ’20s and it has now, you need to do some redistribution. This is a form of redistribution.” How is it that adult Americans can see it as legitimate for government to take by force the property of one person and give it to another who has not earned it.
