Tebow Super Bowl Ad Epitomizes All That is Horrible

I found out thanks to Hot Air that the diabolical Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad is now out–and my! is it scary!

When you watch it, you will realize why the NAGs and all their pro-abortion allies were apoplectic over the thought of this ad playing on national television.  Now that we see it in all it’s dark and ghastly glory, we average Americans can understand why abortionists were so determined to see it banned from the airwaves.  How dare anyone have the call to show something so horrible amongst all the violence, scantily-clad women and beer commercials on this most sacred day!

Seriously, though.  It’s just an ad that celebrates family, motherhood and the love of a mother for her child.  Of course, if you’ve made it your life’s work to eradicate as much of this mother-son love and connectedness as possible, then perhaps this really is as horrifying as the Left wanted us to believe.

Ultimately, the Tim and Pam Tebow ad epitomizes all that is horrible–about liberalism and pro-abortionism.

UPDATE: This ad is a pre-game version.  The in-game version, which hasn’t been seen yet, could just have pro-aborts frothing at the moth in spasms on the floor.

The left's fall-back argument now is that the commercial is a "delivery vehicle" for the pernicious messages at FOTF's website that is referenced at the end of the ad. Unbelievable!

I'm a liberal that is on the border of pro choice/life. I guess I wouldn't really know until I was in the situation. But...I WILL tell you that there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS COMMERCIAL.

The complaints and whiny-*** people who cry about it are flat out wrong.
  • Jim, spend a bit of time pondering the gap between the abortion lobby (which refers to itself as "prochoice") and typical people you know who would self identify as "prochoice".

I went searching and couldn't find a single medical condition for which abortion is the prescribed treatment. Medical journal articles about high risk pregnancy measure positive outcomes in terms of how close to term the woman carries the baby, and whether or not the baby survives. The mother's survival is taken as a given. Yes, sometimes women do die from complications of pregnancy and childbirth, but it's generally from flukey things -- that doctors can get better at identifying and treating, yes, but none of which can be treated with abortion.

So why does the abortion lobby want us to believe that women's lives are endangered by the idea of getting a different doctor if your doctor is trying to talk you into an unwanted abortion?
  • "He's my Timmy, and I love him!"

What a terrifying message to subject innocent children to!
  • As originally reported by LifeNews.com, this is the pre-game commercial. The in-game ad (reportedly to air during the First Quarter) has not yet been released.
  • Oh, I bet it's just as scary!
  • Thanks for the clarification, Steven. If this one is any indication, the in-game ad might just turn our hair white to watch!
