Pastors Challenge Constitutionality of ‘Hate Crime’ Legislation
Four Christians on Tuesday filed a federal lawsuit challenging the recently enacted Hate Crimes Prevention Act, arguing that it seeks to criminalize deeply held religious beliefs that are in opposition to homosexuality. The new law, the lawsuit contends, “is an effort to eradicate religious beliefs opposing the homosexual agenda from the marketplace of ideas by demonizing, vilifying, and criminalizing such beliefs as a matter of federal law and policy.”
Details Emerge About Missionaries Arrested in Haiti
Five of the ten U.S. missionaries who were detained for taking children out of Haiti were questioned by a judge Tuesday. Rather than wait for a permanent facility to be built, the team felt “God … laid upon our hearts the need to go now.” They leased a 45-room hotel at Cabarete, Dominican Republic, to serve as a temporary orphanage.

Embryonic Stem Cell Vote Expected in SD Senate Wednesday
SB 74 has been amended in a desperate effort to gain some access to the product of embryonic stem cell research, and a vote in the South Dakota Senate is expected Wed. Feb. 3. The bill no longer calls for an outright repeal of the ban on ESCR in South Dakota, but would allow treatments derived from ESCR elsewhere to be brought into South Dakota. The bill is still practically unnecessary and morally reprehensible.

Organizers claim that the “secretive fundamentalist organization” – The Fellowship Foundation, also known as The Family – behind the annual National Prayer Breakfast is directly tied to the bill.
Did He Really Say What He Said
The President’s first State of the Union speech may be over but the con goes on. Keep your eye on the coin as the shills move the shells around. With the world shivering in the grip of the worst winter in decades man-made global warming becomes climate change. When will all the revelations of lies and fraud on the part of the climate grifters expose this for the power grab it is?
Theologian: Tebow Ad Controversy ‘Odd’ In a Society of Free Speech
Though people complain that the upcoming Focus on the Family Super Bowl ad is divisive and controversial, the commercial is simply allowing a family to tell its personal story, contends a theologian. Dr. Darrell Bock, research professor of New Testament at Dallas Theological Seminary, said there is a push back on the ability of someone to tell a personal story, or the right to free speech.

Socialists in congress and in the White House may be intent on forcing government health care on the people of America, but the states are no longer the door mats our despotic federal government has become accustomed to. More than 2/3 of the states are moving to nullify government health care, and South Dakota is moving forward with three bills in the legislature to resist this.
