Where’s Al?
In the face of the embarrassing Climategate scandal and an unprecedented winter season that has for the first time ever delivered measurable snowfall to all 50 states, Al Gore’s absence from the public stage has been conspicuous. Perhaps he’s taken a page from Punxsutawney Phil’s playbook and is hibernating in hopes of a sunnier forecast come April.
Biblical Lutherans Form New Church Body
Lutherans who have left or are pondering their exit from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America have put a name to the alternate church body they plan to form – North American Lutheran Church. A proposal for the new denominational body that is intended to provide a biblically faithful home for disaffected Lutherans was released Thursday, on the anniversary of the death of 16th century reformer Martin Luther.
Time for new generation of black Americans
It’s now over 40 years since the Civil Right movement — enough wandering in the wilderness. It’s time for a new generation of black Americans to step forward. A generation to turn to the truths that will rebuild black lives, black families, and lead blacks to the freedom that Dr. King and all blacks have dreamed about.
Obama Faith-Based Office Going ‘Community Organizer’
The White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships is not a dispenser of government money, said the office’s director in a speech Thursday. The current office is seeking to portray itself as a community organizer of sorts.
Is Joe Stack a Wake-Up Call to America?
While we can and should disagree with the method of Joe Stack’s madness, Americans shouldn’t be too quick to discount the source of his frustrations. Clearly, Stack is neither a hero nor a martyr. Nor is he technically a terrorist. Rather, he is the end product of a system that pays little heed to the disaffected, discontent and voiceless. And while Stack may have been alone in the cockpit of that Piper Cherokee plane, he is not alone in his discontent and frustration.
Great Wisdom from the Founders
There will probably never be another generation like the one that founded the United States. Grounded in a Biblical worldview and educated in history, this group of men had a handle on the noble possibilities of which humans are capable…and of the great evil we can sink to when we get sloppy. We have inherited [...]
Christians Arrive in Miami After Release from Haiti
Eight of the ten American volunteers detained in Haiti for the past three weeks on suspicion of child abduction were finally released and arrived in Miami early Thursday morning.
Horowitz on “The Great Awakening”
Former Sixties radical David Horowitz (http://frontpagemag.com/) is taped at the Restoration Weekend last November discussing the New Left and especially the connection between Socialist/Communist ideology and the “green movement,” connecting the red dots Soros, Van Jones, Obama, the SEIU and A.C.O.R.N. in the process. Horowitz quotes from the “New Left Notes” newsletter that “The issue [...]
Crow Indian Tea Party holds first rally
Karmelita Plains Bull Martin organized the first Tea Party protest by Crow tribal members in Hardin, MT on Monday. Attending was Crow Teaparty leader Adrian Bird, Sr. who said “the tribe would be better off if it developed the natural resources on the reservation, lived by tribal laws and declined federal government assistance.” The story was reported at the online site of the Helena Independent Record yesterday and reinforces my belief that the Tea Party Movement is growing daily and encompassing ever broader and more diverse Americans. What they have in common is a love of liberty and a belief in the Constitutional principles upon which this great nation was founded.
America’s best-kept secret of 2009: Michael Savage and His Ban from Britain
One of the biggest, most buried and under-reported stories of last year is the shocking move in early May by then-Home Secretary of Britain, Jaqui Smith, to announce the inexplicable inclusion of Savage’s name on a list of people who would be denied entry into the United Kingdom if they attempted to visit. What’s astonishing is that the list was made up of murdering Muslim terrorists, brutal nazi skinheads and Michael Savage, a law-abiding American citizen and prolific author, who has two masters degrees and a Ph.D.
The Second Amendment Today
This is a great presentation on the Second Amendment from Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. The Second Amendment wasn’t recognized as a fundamental right because the founders believed we should be able to hunt (though we should). Though this was certainly a part of their recognition, it wasn’t even quite so much that [...]
Birth of the Tea Party Movement
Keli (”Liberty Belle”) Carender became one of the founding mothers of the Tea Party Movement when she organized the Seattle protest against the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, a.k.a. Porkulus. In a letter sent to Michelle Malkin she reminds us of what the first “tea party” was about back in 1773 and how Americans are suffering similar oppression under present day tyrants. Patriots today have told the political elites that we have had enough and that we demand that the government be yoked and constrained according to the limits laid out in our Constitution. The desire for liberty still burns hot in the hearts of most Americans, and therein lies our hope for a renewal of the founding principles.

Rain, Snow or Shine, Global Warming is Fine…For an Excuse
Whether it’s hot, cold, raining, snowing, sleeting, sunny, cloudy, dry, moist, or anything in between…it’s always the fault of global warming, didn’t you know? How convenient, isn’t it, when the real evidence just isn’t helping you? And didn’t you know that it’s your fault–for driving, using electricity, or breathing–that we have global warming. So why [...]
American Colleges: The Liberal Factory
Did you know our American colleges most prolific product is liberals? If you didn’t, you’ve been living under a rock…or you’re a liberal. It is undeniable that people stand a greater chance of becoming a liberal by attending the average college. Of course, liberals would say that’s because liberalism is the “enlightened” philosophy, and college [...]
Raising Hell—Isn’t That What Patriots Do?
Loving your country does not mean being satisfied with the status quo or the way government is being administered. Government invariably, possibly inevitably, oversteps its authority. Love of country, it must be emphasized, is always strengthened by both a knowledge of history and of the Constitution and, when need be, acting on that knowledge.
Truth Squad Corrects Obama Weekly Address
This is something we need every time President Barack Obama speaks: a truth squad to correct what he says and to put it in the proper perspective.

Social Security reform cooking again
Paul Ryan’s retirement proposal is a bi-partisan reform opportunity where Barack Obama can truly make history. Wealth doesn’t come from income. It comes from ownership. Investing in personal retirement accounts, rather than paying Social Security taxes, would be a boon for America’s black community.
