Obama’s Anti-Christian Faith-Based Appointee

President Barack Obama appoints so many bad people to our government, it’s almost impossible to keep up with them all. If one wanted to list all the worst possible choices for government positions, it might be easier (and pretty accurate) to simply list the entire roster of employees.

Harry Knox was appointed early last year to the president’s Faith Based Initiatives board, but most of us are only recently beginning to hear about him. Like the vast majority of President Obama’s appointments, he is about as wrong a choice for the position in which he serves as you can get.

Knox is a homosexual activist with the radical pro-homosexual group Human Rights campaign. Knox says the pope hurts people “in the name of Jesus” because he opposes handing out condoms to help avoid the spread of a disease spread primarily through immoral sexual contact.

President Obama has a long history of appointing anti-Americans, radicals, Marxists, communists and outright immoral people to ostensibly do the people’s business in the American government.  It would be hard to imagine a worse set of government representatives if one actually tried to appoint terrible people.

Too late, many Americans have realized that we elected a man (and his government) who is the polar opposite of what Americans should be able to expect as the leader of our government.  Many Americans are realizing that we must curtail his power as soon as possible, and that begins in November 2010 with taking his congressional stooges away from him.  In 2012, we finish the job.

We must, if we are to preserve our republic.  It was not designed to run on evil. As John Adams said

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. . . . Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

    Certainly sounds like this gentleman doesn't belong on this board, but his comments about the Pope have merit. The Pope does indeed present and stand for the spreading of the word of Jesus. All that the Pope does is in Jesus's name.

    So when the Pope says that condoms make the problem of the AIDS epidemic in Africa worse, which is not true, the Pope is speaking in Jesus's name. Still, I don't believe Mr. Knox belongs at all on this Board. Too hostile.He comes off as saying the Catholic church and Jesus condone killing.
  • I'm glad you recognize that Knox doesn't belong on this board. However, the Pope was right about condom use exacerbating the AIDS problem..

    Condoms provide a false sense of security, both for those promoting them and for those who actually use them. Condoms often break, and are even more prone to do so when used during homosexual activity. Condoms also have tiny holes in them known as voids which, while smaller than sperm, are larger than the virus people want them to keep out.

    So people feel deceptively safe in having sex they shouldn't be having in the first place, and unfortunately end up paying a high price for it.

    God doesn't want to spoil our fun. God created sex as a wonderfully pleasurable activity that is completely safe...when practiced within the confines of marriage.

    I agree with what you say, particularly about the 'confines of marriage'. And as you say, condoms are not 100% protection against disease. Do condons promote a false sense of security? They certainly can.

    But does their use actually increase the spread of AIDS ? That is the question. Global studies shows
    condoms USUALLY do not increase AIDS rates. There have been some studies ( a recent one in Uganda ) that show promiscuity went up with condom use and in some areas so did the AIDS rate, but in others the rate went down.

    It varies with locale and if other educational programs( abstinence, monogomy teaching etc) are present. There are so many variables involved as I've mentioned-cultural,educational etc- that you can find studies that support either side of this argument depending on which study you read.

    So to me, blanket statements like condoms reduce or increase AIDS rates should be scrutinized. Global studies however, on the whole, have shown that in general when condoms are used, AIDS rates tend to decrease..

    The first line of defense should always be abstinence and monogamy
