Lech Walesa is the former president of Poland.  Before that, he was a freedom fighter in the Cold War.  He was one of the great people of the world who fought with Ronald Reagan to end the evil Soviet Empire.

Unfortunately, America has lost its way since the end of the Cold War.  But some remember. Walesa has a reminder for America, and an admonition that we turn around before it is irrevocably too late:

“The United States is only one superpower. Today they lead the world. Nobody has doubts about it. Militarily. They also lead economically but they’re getting weak. But they don’t lead morally and politically anymore. The world has no leadership. The United States was always the last resort and hope for all other nations. There was the hope, whenever something was going wrong, one could count on the United States. Today, we lost that hope,” Lech Walesa said last Friday in Chicago at a campaign event for Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski.
