Dem Strategy: Get Voters to Think ‘Tea Party’ About GOP Candidates
Don’t you just love liberals? When they find a way of smashing their face into the door, they do it over and over and over, with increasing vigor and zeal.
Fox News and other media outlets are reporting that the Democrats’ strategy for 2010 is–get this–to try and get people to identify Republicans with the Tea Party movement:
“Given the pressure Republican candidates feel from the extreme right in their party, there is a critical — yet time-sensitive — opportunity for Democratic candidates,” the DSCC wrote in the memo, which was obtained by FoxNews.com. “We have a finite window when Republican candidates will feel susceptible to the extremists in their party. Given the urgent nature of this dynamic, we suggest an aggressive effort to get your opponents on the record.”
The memo encourages Democratic candidates to compel their opponents to answer a series of questions on issues that have helped boost the tea party movement and reveal cracks in GOP unity, including health care, taxes and President Obama’s citizenship and ideology.
Ooooookay! The Tea Party movement is considerably more popular than the damaged, RINO-infested GOP brand, so the Donkeys want Americans to think “Tea Party” when they think of Republicans running for office this year. When hundreds of thousands of Americans came out in droves in the past year to Tea Party events across the country on Tax Day, Independence Day, going to Washington D.C., with the American people more energized for freedom than ever before?
Where’s the address for me to send flowers and candy? Who in the DNC thought this up? The Tea Party brand alone is more popular than the Democrat brand; when you combine the Tea Party brand with the GOP brand among those voters who are fiercely loyal to the GOP (assuming, of course, that we don’t have a pack of RINOs coming out of the primary this year), you’ll have an unbeatable synthesis on the Right
The American people–even the more “moderate” ones–have received a very clear look in the past year at the ultra-liberalism the Democrat Party offers. They offer things like the cap and trade global warming tax (which will kill millions of jobs, raise your electric bills by 40%, increase your gasoline costs, and come into your home to tell you how to live) and government health care (that is so stinky that most Americans would rather congress do nothing than push forward with their socialistic plan).
