Chinese Climate Delegate: Population Control Essential to Save the Planet
The communist Chinese have a solution for the imaginary problem of anthropogenic global warming that is uniquely, um, communist: kill off some people.

“Dealing with climate change is not simply an issue of CO2 emission reduction but a comprehensive challenge involving political, economic, social, cultural and ecological issues, and the population concern fits right into the picture,” said Zhao, who is a member of the Chinese government delegation.
Many studies link population growth with emissions and the effect of climate change.
“Calculations of the contribution of population growth to emissions growth globally produce a consistent finding that most of past population growth has been responsible for between 40 per cent and 60 percent of emissions growth,” so stated by the 2009 State of World Population, released earlier by the UN Population Fund.
Although China’s family planning policy has received criticism over the past three decades, Zhao said that China’s population program has made a great historic contribution to the well-being of society.
As a result of the family planning policy, China has seen 400 million fewer births, which has resulted in 18 million fewer tons of CO2 emissions a year, Zhao said.
Though he’s a Marxist thug, he’s right about this if you accept the worldview which says it’s okay to kill innocent human beings.
This fits in well with the philosophy of President Obama’s “Science Czar” John Holdren who believes we need to reverse the American development which has given us the best lifestyle in the world, even post-birth children are not yet human, and that trees have equal or higher legal standing than human beings. Holdren is a Malthusian who, like the communist Chinese, believes there are too many of these nasty human beings running around (only he and the communist thugs running the Chinese government never seem to be the first guys in line to reduce the population).
The glorious communist revolution in China has killed something like 80 million people so far (earning the admiration of the former White House Communications Director), so what’s a few million more aborted children, right? They are very practiced at the art of killing both the born and the unborn.
Seriously, even if you believed humans were making a significant contribution of CO2 (which they aren’t; our contribution makes up only a small percentage compared to the massive input from natural sources such as animals, volcanoes, forest fires, etc.) you would still have to justify the killing of innocent human life.
That cannot be done under any circumstances, and certainly not based on the extremely thin evidence for AGW.
We are Americans, a nation of people who believe in the God-given rights and dignity of human beings, not socialist Euro-sheep or communist butchers. This may work for them and their people (well, mainly just for those in charge), but not for Americans.
