Leaders Worldwide Call for Probe into Leaked Global Warming Emails

Fox News reports Senator James Inhofe is calling for a probe into the global warming fraud emails and documents which came to light last week.

Republican lawmaker is calling for an investigation into whether a U.N. panel “cooked the science” on climate change following the publication of more than 1,000 private e-mails that global warming skeptics say proves the threat is overstated.

Sen. James Inhofe, the top Republican on the Environment and Public Works Committee, told the Washington Times in a radio interview Monday that he will press for a probe into whether the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) “cooked the science to make this thing look as if the science was settled, when all the time of course we knew it was not.”

“This thing is serious, you think about the literally millions of dollars that have been thrown away on some of this stuff that they came out with,” the Oklahoma Republican said.

Some lawmakers are already looking into the apparent scientific fraud revealed in these documents.

The UK Guardian also reports British leaders are calling for an investigation over these revelations, as does Newsmax.  The Daily Mail reports there are calls that one of the “scientists” implicated in the scandal should resign from the Climate Research Unit (though it appears the fraud is systemic and institutional, rather than the work of one man).

The U.S. House has already passed a cap and trade global warming tax that the Senate is now considering.  Also, many socialists around the world and here in the United States want to hamstring our country in a UN climate treaty next month.  Not only millions of dollars but our very freedom is on the line from the threat posed by this hoax.

Terry Hurlbut at the Essex County Conservative Examiner has an interesting theory about who leaked the global warming fraud emails and documents last week.

The anonymous tipster, whom many people initially assumed had “hacked” into the computers at the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia (repeatedly called the “Hadley CRU,” by mistake), might in fact be a CRU insider who released the files for his own reasons.

The user, known only as “FOIA” (which now appears to be a reference to the British equivalent of the US Freedom of Information Act), left only one comment on The Air Vent to announce his release of his 61-MB ZIP archive. He has never been heard from since, nor has anyone stepped forward claiming to be that person since the story became widely known.

Persons knowledgeable in information security hold that this is not the behavior of a hacker. A hacker normally boasts of his act, even if he were hired or otherwise suborned to commit his act by someone else. These two reports provide illustrations of such behavior.

Speaking of a Freedom of Information Act request for data from these hoaxers, it would appear these socialist “scientists” were ready to destroy information rather than turn it over to the requester.

There is a lot of damning evidence about these researchers concealing information that counters their bias. In another exchange, Mr. Jones told Mr. Mann: “If they ever hear there is a Freedom of Information Act now in the UK, I think I’ll delete the file rather than send to anyone” and, “We also have a data protection act, which I will hide behind.” Mr. Jones further urged Mr. Mann to join him in deleting e-mail exchanges about the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) controversial assessment report (ARA): “Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re [the IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report]?”

And there are more such calls for the deletion of information, rather than allow it to fall into the hands of nonbelievers.

Apostles of the Religion of Anthropogenic Global Warming are trying to ignore this bombshell where possible, and to spin it as meaning nothing, just “poorly chosen words” said “in the heat of the moment.” Uh huh. Go pull my other leg now.

Contextually, there is simply no reason to see the choice of words in these documents as anything other than what they appear to be: attempts to twist, distort, and alter the representation of data to appear as advantageous as possible to their silly theory of anthropogenic global warming.

While the “mainstream” media and liberal politicians do their best to ignore this earth-shaking revelation, the people must push hard for a full investigation into this revelation, and a full examination of the pathetically weak “evidence” for anthropogenic global warming.

We must not even consider sacrificing our prosperity and freedom on the altar of a politically correct lie.
