It’s Never Too Early to be Too Late
Are we going to stand complicit in our silence as wars without limit fought by people who proudly proclaim they love death more than we love life shoot our unarmed citizens in the name of God? Will we allow apologists for evil to blame the second amendment instead of telling us the truth? It’s time to rise up and say enough is enough!

“Swine Flu” revisited
1976 was the year of the U.S. Bicentennial. 1976 was a presidential election year. 1976 was two years after Watergate caused Nixon’s resignation, and one year after the fall of Saigon. The U.S. government, both Republicans and Democrats, had never been held in such low esteem. Practically every elected official felt an overwhelming itch that patriotic year to do something to get the public thinking of them as good guys again. A swine flu pandemic was an opportunity on a plate. What better way to get into the good graces of the voters than to save them from a plague?
Orwellian Carbon Allowances on the Horizon
Next on the environmental extremist horizon: “carbon allowance” cards that you must produce anytime you purchase goods or services that “contributes to your carbon footprint.” Are you really willing to submit to this kind of meddling and government control over every aspect of your personal life? And to do so to combat a problem that doesn’t even exist in the first place?
Church Rejects Woman Who Decides to Obey God
When Abby Johnson worked at Planned Parenthood, she was warmly welcomed in her apostate church. But now that she has recognized the reality of human life in the womb and become pro-life, her church is turning a cold shoulder. Tough times lie ahead at Judgement Day for Christians who applaud sin and despise good behavior.
Stupak Amendment Prohibiting Health Care Abortion Coverage May Not Hold
Celebration over the Stupak amendment in the House health care bill was cut short this week as pro-life supporters fear the language could be removed. Abortion rights supporters, including House lawmakers, have threatened to pull their support from the health care bill if language such as the Stupak amendment remains in the final version. The Stupak amendment, introduced by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), bars the use of federal funding for “any health plan [public or private] that includes coverage of abortion,” except in the cases of rape, incest or to save the woman’s life.
D.C. Committee Passes Counterfeit Marriage Bill
A D.C. Council Committee passed a bill Tuesday that would legalize same-sex marriage in the federal district while also providing an exemption for religious groups. The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said that while the bill exempts religious organizations from performing and providing space for same-sex marriages, it requires them to adhere to city laws prohibiting discrimination against gay men and women. Among the changes the archdiocese fears will be possible under the bill is the forced extension of employee benefits to same-sex married couples.
Survivor of Socialism Has Warning for America
Kitty Werthmann survived seven years under Nazi rule in Austria and the difficult years after World War II before coming to the United States in 1950. She sees many parallels between how the Austrians lost their freedom, and many of the disturbing trends in the United States recently. She gave a speech in Rapid City outlining her concerns.
Report Documents Longstanding Media Love Affair With Communism
CNS News tells us about a new report published by the Media Research Center on the “mainstream” media’s efforts to hide where they could and dress up where they couldn’t the crimes and evil of communism. The report is called “Better Off Red? Twenty Years After the Fall of the Berlin Wall, Recalling the Liberal Media’s Blindness to the Evil of Communism.”
