Senator James Inhofe is calling for a probe into the global warming fraud emails and documents which came to light last week. With a cap and trade global warming tax on the table here in the United States, and a UN climate change treaty which would hamstring the U.S. economy, we cannot afford to ignore this compelling evidence that the theory of anthropogenic global warming is a complete fraud.

The scientific principle of “falsifiability” asserts that “the criterion of the scientific status of a theory is its falsifiability, or refutability, or testability.” Apparently the folks at the Climate Research Unit took a different slant on “falsifiability,” deciding that the only way to prove that their theory was true was simply to falsify the facts.

For months white and hispanic males were being systematically assaulted by black gang members and, apparently, race was the main factor in the attacks. A few were robbed, but in most cases victims were simply beaten while attackers screamed racial slurs and epithets. Does anyone suppose that there would be any doubt about the motivations for the attacks were the roles reversed?

At the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s “On the Origin of Species,” a group of Christian scientists gone into the belly of the beast…to demonstrate the fallacies and weaknesses of Darwin’s ideas.

If you’re going to lead an organization (say, a civic organization, a church, a charity, a nonprofit, a company,…a country), it’s not unreasonable to expect such a leader to be proud of your organization, to love your organization, to defend your organization. The latest Rasmussen poll finds support for socialist health care sinking to a new low, with must 28% of voters in favor of President Obama’s government health care plan. Socialists in Congress and the White House are desperate to get the government heath care bill passed quickly before what little political capital they have left is exhausted.

As we have lost our sense of meaning, morality and spirituality, the erosion of our freedoms on virtually every front has accelerated. And, make no mistake about it, freedom in the true sense of the word is always undergirded by a common moral and religious system. As James Adams opined: “Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.”

Can you imagine being completely paralyzed but completely conscious for 23 years, all the while listening to people talk about you–perhaps even about ending your life–as if you weren’t there?

Some are calling it a bribe. Some are calling it the Louisiana Purchase. So how much does it take for some U.S. Senators to sell their Constitution and their country? Apparently $300 million is the price for one.

Fellow Americans, it has come to this: you have one final chance to reclaim what the Founding Fathers established, a government “of the people” and not of career elitists and Socialists. If you do not, then you’re not deserving of liberty. As Founder Samuel Adams wrote, “Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

As we, once again, approach this national day of “thanksgiving” I thought it necessary to reflect upon our nation’s long history of acknowledging and giving thanks to Almighty God. On October 3, 1789 George Washington issued the nation’s first presidential proclamation in which he called the nation to set aside a day for giving thanks to that “great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be….”

With regard to health care, the bureaucrats have decided that the people need Big Brother to dictate their health insurance decisions because they can’t be trusted to make good choices themselves. This is the height of paternalism: Government knows best and damn the torpedoes.

Amidst the dismal picture of life in our nation’s capital, the DC City Council, perhaps on the theory that serving up another glass of wine is the way to help a drunk, is scheduled to vote on December 1 to legalize same sex marriage in America’s capital city. It should concern every American as we watch our nation’s capital city transform officially into Sodom.

Terming the current Obama healthcare legislation a “Trojan Viper,” Americans for Limited Government President Bill Wilson today said that Democrat Congressman Henry Waxman “let the cat out of the bag,” when he told a Washington news bureau, “If we get it in place, we can build on it later.”

News is spreading across the internet like wildfire today that emails from the East Anglia Climate Research “Unit in England (not too far from where I used to live) have been hacked by someone and released on the web. These emails seem to reveal that some people have known all along that global warming claims were a fraud all along–and they helped cover that fraud.

If you support a bill or amendment or procedure to forward a bill or amendment without reading it, studying it, and allowing the voters to review it and advise you, then you are an irresponsible legislator. And the label of “IRRESPONSIBLE” will stick on you in the next election.

Qusi Al-Haj, Senator Thune’s West River Director, gave an update at the Citizens for Liberty meeting tonight on the Senate health care bill scheduled for a vote this weekend. It’s a big one, it’s a bad one, and Americans need to get busy convincing these senators to stop it.

So-called “green jobs” cost more to produce the same output, and cost twice as many jobs in real industry as are created. So why should we waste our time investing in such things to fight an imaginary problem that doesn’t exist in the first place?

Read what you can of the 2,000+ page bill…then let your senators know their re-election is on the line if they pass this attack on the Constitution and the American way of life.
