Washington University shut down a freedom display today on the 20 year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

A conservative student group built a gulag complete with prisoners, guards and barb wire.

The staff said it was offensive and that things weren’t really that bad in the Soviet Union.

How dare these students tell the naked, ugly truth about Marxism! What were they thinking? Didn’t they realize their betters in academia would not stand for their beloved philosophy to be maligned on their campus?

As with our President and his staff, these Leftists are in love with the most anti-freedom, anti-American philosophy of the last several hundred years, and they can’t help but show their love.

As the organizer in this video points out, perhaps these academic elitists haven’t taken a look at North Korea or China if they think Marxism is so wonderful.

I suspect that Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a survivor of the Soviet gulag, were he still alive, might beg to differ with these comfortable American Marxists that “it wasn’t that bad” in the Soviet Union.

These people are disgusting.
