Call to Duty for South Dakota
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Pray South Dakota” is a group of South Dakotans who believe that real leadership begins with a strong moral foundation. We are asking people all across the State to join in this commitment to pray.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
South Dakota needs a God fearing Governor; someone who is willing to call His people to pray and seek direction in these troubled times. We need State Legislators, City and County officials and school board members who will look to God for direction as they lead the people of this state.
I am asking 1,000 people for a commitment to pray with me in November, December and January.
This is the daily prayer assignment:
- Ask God to give us a Governor who serves Him.
- Ask God to speak to men and women who will run for office throughout the state.
- Ask God to send revival to His people and cause them to support God fearing candidates for every elective office in our State.
Many have already joined together. If you believe you are one of the 1,000 called to pray, please email (send email to sdpray@ghowie.com ) to say you are joining me.
If you know someone else who may want to join our prayer team, feel free to share this with them, and ask them to email their contact information so we can keep them informed.
Through January, we will be sharing with each other what we are seeing and hearing.
I am excited to see what God will do as we begin to pray together!
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. – Proverbs 29:2
