White House Fears Fox News

FoxNewsLiberals sure are a bunch of wusses, aren’t they?

Think about it: liberals have the overwhelming majority of the “mainstream” media in their laps like good little lapdogs, yet they turn pale over the few outlets they don’t have locked up.

Like Fox News.

Liberals have–and have had for years–the following singing their praises, sweeping liberal dirt under the rug and putting a magnifying glass on anything unsightly from the Right: ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times, Associated Press, Newsweek, Time, US News and World Reports,  and so many more.

But Fox news scares the daylights out of them…and they cannot abide it.

Unlike almost all the other networks, Fox News actually allows the conservative point of view to air in something other than a pre-engineered shooting gallery.  By this I mean that the only time you’ll hear the conservative point of view on the other networks is when liberal “newsmen” set up strawman caricatures of it so they can knock them down with a 6-to-1 liberal ratio of panelists and such.

And of course we all know how the “mainstream” media can find “conservative” this and “Rightwing” that to sneer at and disparage all day long, but never is there to be seen or heard a liberal politician, a liberal group or a liberal idea.  There are only “conservatives” and “moderates,” don’t you know?

This media bias was never more clear, evident and blatant than it was during the 2008 presidential campaign.  We had the most liberal senator in congress running against a “moderate” Republican, but the media never saw the slightest bit of liberalism from Barack Obama.  On the other side, however, event he “moderate” McCain wasn’t good enough for them. Oh, McCain was a darling as long as McCain’s enemies were other Republicans, but when the choice was McCain or a dyed-in-the-wood liberal, the full liberal wins their love every time.

And then there was Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, a real conservative.  We saw a full-court-press, an all-out war by the “mainstream” media to discredit and demonize this woman.  We had “mainstream” “objective” journalists like Katie Couric getting coached by Obama people on how to interview Palin.  We had polls that were stacked against Republicans.

We saw after the election how incredibly ignorant the average Obama voter was, thanks to the “mainstream” media.  Oh, these zombie voters were well “educated” about all the smack, pap, innuendo and lies about Sarah Palin and John McCain, but knew practically nothing (good or bad) about Obama and Biden…only that Obama and Biden were for the little guy, and they’d take care of Americans (who are too stupid and incapable of running their own lives anyway).

And all that is not enough for the Obama Administration.   With ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times, Associated Press, Newsweek, Time, US News and World Reports running interference for the Obama Administration and throwing rose petals at their feet, it galls them that Fox News won’t kneel to the Obamessiah.

They get so frightened and threatened they have to set up a taxpayer-funded website to try and bash Fox News.

The truth is powerful, make no mistake about it.  Therefore, the Obama Administration should be scared silly of the truth getting out (it already has, and the Tea Parties and town halls demonstrate that).

Still, it leaves the White House looking pretty petty and pathetic when they get so spun up over one news network’s objectivity and balance when they have the remainder firmly in their pocket.

With the American people awake like never before to “mainstream” news media bias, Fox News is more popular than ever.  People are looking for a place where they can get news and information that isn’t sugar-coated in liberal pap.

In demonizing Fox News for not being a good little lapdog like the rest of the media, the White House is sending even more people into the arms of the news outlet they fear the most.
