Need a new reason not to fight terrorism? Need a new reason to turn a blind eye to the bloodshed of innocent civilians?

Look no more! PC Innovations Inc. brings you the “Transgender Excuse.”

Yes, you heard right, the Transgender Excuse can give you that out you’ve been looking for.

You know you didn’t want to fight terrorism in the first place You know you were afraid that if you angered terrorists, they’d come after you. You might have even been sympathetic to terrorists.

But you were probably worried that your uptown friends might think you were weak, or that you lacked sincerity when you mouthed weak shallow condemnations of terrorism.

Well, your worries are now over! You can appease terrorists and appease your more conviction-oriented friends!

Read this report from CNS News to find out more on how you, too, can befriend evil (in more ways than one):

A report by U.N. Special Rapporteur Martin Scheinin that is awaiting approval by the United Nations General Assembly says that security measures taken to detect terrorists “risk unduly penalizing transgender persons whose personal appearance and data are subject to change.”

The report, which was issued August 3, places emphasis on “persons of diverse sexual orientation and gender identities” and recommends that counterterrorism operations be more sensitive to gender issues.

On page 19 the report says: “Enhanced immigration controls that focus attention on male bombers who may be dressing as females to avoid scrutiny make transgender persons susceptible to increased harassment and suspicion.”

Just a few sentences later, Scheinin writes that “counter-terrorism measures that involve increased travel document security, such as stricter procedures for issuing, changing and verifying identity documents, risk unduly penalizing transgender persons whose personal appearance and data are subject to change.”

“This,” he claims, “jeopardizes the right of persons of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities to recognition before the law”

I know: you’re probably thinking PC Industries Inc. has outdone themselves this time, and they can’t top this wonder-tool.

But rest assured, PC Industries Inc–and its parent company, Dark Master Productions–are already hard at work manufacturing still new and exciting ways to live comfortably with evil and to reduce the burden of that nagging conscience.

I’m Intersexed – my body’s neither wholly male nor wholly female. Worse, my particular IS condition involves dichogamy, a change from looking like one sex at birth to the other later. Although technically I’m not transsexual, most would class me as transgendered because of that, and I don’t get a say in it.

I have had immense problems travelling overseas. Something to do with the passport saying “F” (based on medical reality) and the Birth Certificate saying “boy”. Yes, it’s worse than an inconvenience, others in a similar situation have ended up jailed, raped and killed. I have to be careful which immigration centre I enter the USA in for example, most are OK, some it could be a death sentence. Putting a woman in an Immigration holding facility for men is like throwing meat to the lions. It’s happened, and the worse thing is, in today’s security climate, you don’t even get the chance to use a sliver of glass to open your veins and kill yourself before things get too bad.

So if anyone has a right to say that this report is Politically Correct BS, I do. And I do. Yes, I have real problems that should be addressed. But for goodness’ sake, the Global War on Terror is a War, and it’s not unreasonable that people in an usual situation like me might get some extra problems because of that. This whole report is nothing but PC BS.

And as we can walk and chew gum at the same time, while we’re defeating the Jihadis, maybe we can look at the rubbish people like me have to deal with too. But let’s show some intelligence and make preventing any more 9/11s a higher priority.
  • By focusing on the shock aspects of this story, you're completely missing the point of the UN report (and in fact there is one, and it's not to stop fighting terrorism).

I am a woman of transsexual history who began my transition years ago. I'm a professional graphic designer in Canada whose co-workers don't question who I am, and largely didn't know until an unrelated event put that aspect of my life in media (I don't deny it if asked but don't broadcast it either). Because of bureaucracy, I have not been able to finish changing all my identification. And I dare not travel to the US because current border policies make it possible to detain me for an indefinite period of time as a suspected terrorist at border security's discretion and with no recourse (and I've experienced enough heavy-handed "teach the fag a lesson" attitude not to trust authority with my life and liberty in iffy situations like this).

I've not read the full UN report, but I certainly know that there is an issue and certainly must be some kind of reasonable compromise that still allows adequate potential terrorist screening.

BTW, WXRGina, I did not choose to be transsexual. The choice I made was to stop wrestling with the lifetime of depression, anxiety and suffocation of trying to live a lie in order to meet everyone else's expectations (if I could have just "changed my mind" and been a boy, I would have gladly done so). You clearly think of transsexualism in terms of "sexual perversion," yet sex had nothing to do with it. In fact, hormone therapy has made me almost completely non-functioning in that regard, but if that's the sacrifice I had to make in order to live as I needed to, then I'm fine with that.

There is in fact more to the story here, but it requires looking beyond preconceptions.

"...if I could have just 'changed my mind' and been a boy, I would have gladly done so." May I ask just what unsuccessful effort you made in that direction? There are things that help and things that don't (mostly things that would be too easy), and most who have "tried and failed" have only tried the latter.

Of course you did not "choose" to have sexual identity issues. But (unless perhaps you were born hermaphroditic and physically assigned contrary to your primary gender leaning, which I'll wager is not the case) something went awry in your life (probably starting very early on) that sent you in the wrong direction. And, by the same token, something could have helped that without body modification being necessary -- something you either didn't know about or refused to submit yourself to.

Ultimately, the concept of "woman in a man's body" is a simplistic notion that makes no sense given the complexities of the different body chemistry between the sexes.
  • You are not a "woman" at all. You are a man trying to be a woman, and even if you cut your penis off you will still be a man; just a man without a penis. That's who you are at a genetic and fundamental level.

It is sad that you are so mixed up and confused that you aren't living as you were created to be, but society has no obligation whatsoever to indulge and enable your disorientation.

That lack of obligation is never more relevant than in the sacrifice of public safety to accommodate your dysfunction.

You need help, and you will never get it as long as our society takes the irresponsible position of pretending that a man is a woman simply because he wishes to be.
  • WXRGina
Yeah, that's REALLY good. First of all, these lame-brains are talking about sexual perverts in relation to Islamist animals (although the distinction may be moot). Usually, the homo-perverts don't cross-dress in burkas. And, if you're dealing with a retarded, murderous Muslim man dressed like a Muslim burka-clad woman with a bomb in his drawers, it's pretty easy to tell he's not a twisted sister. How? RACIAL PROFILING. Yes, I said it. Pat him down! We all know that not all Muslims are terrorists, but most all terrorists ARE Muslim. Yep.

So, here is a swell attempt to further the homosexual deviant agenda in combination with softening the crackdown on rabid Muslim killers. These freaks in the "global community" will not stop until the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation are fulfilled, as we know.

OK, a little perspective here. As much as this stuff calls for outrage, never forget that no one just *decides* to be a "homo-pervert" (or whatever). It's the result of something going seriously wrong in their lives, and "gay" people, whatever impression they may try to give otherwise, are hurting people. So, enough with the ugly name-calling; no wonder not many "gay" people feel drawn to Christianity.

That said, this article gives a clear example of how detrimental it is to give in to people who aren't as they should be and aren't willing to deal with it as they should.
  • WXRGina
Actually, everyone who behaves this way "decides" to do so. All sin is a choice. As far as homosexuals being drawn to Christianity, it doesn't often happen, as most of them hate Christians with a purple passion, and that's not because anyone points out their perverse behavior (or labels their ugly behavior with "ugly" names), but Christianity itself repels the homosexual spirit that possesses them. Ever heard of the group Act Up? I have no sympathy for militant homosexuals.

I agree with you that homosexuals are hurting people - they hurt themselves and those around them. Seriously, I know they live sad lives.
  • DCM
Can't really argue with that for the most part. But, without denying the element of choice that sin has, let's not gloss over what an addiction (which is what homosexuality ultimately is) does. It's stronger than one's will and takes time, effort & accountability to get free of. I know this from experience. The "choice" comes in when one decides to start taking those difficult steps instead of remaining a slave to the addiction.
  • WXRGina
DCM, you nailed it on the head!

Sin is very addictive. And, you know that people can get free from their addictions whether they be drugs, jealousy, various sexual addictions, or myriad other deadly things.

There are powerful ministries that help homosexuals get free from the terrible bondage of that deathstyle. These ministries are constant targets of the radical left, that despises anyone who dares proclaim that freedom is available for those who want it.
  • Good point, DCM.

It's easy to get angry and outraged when this kind of stuff is forced on society, and is taken to such extreme lengths as to hinder our ability to protect ourselves from terrorism. And in reality, I hold those in society who aren't plagued by this but who enable and accommodate it, far more responsible.

But we do need to remember that there is something extremely wrong with such people, and as you said, contrary to the smokescreen they're hurting.

We need to try to be compassionate to them and try to help them, while not pretending it's okay and not bending the world to fit their disorientation.
  • a2audrey
Bob, You truly demonstrate compassion when you display a photo of an over-the-top drag queen as an illustration of the issue.

The real issue is that they just look like any girl (or guy), but their photo documentation doesn't match. And, transgender identity is about how someone feels about themselves, not who they are attracted to.

I'm sure you only see them as perverts and they view you as a biggoted idiot.
  • So they don't dress this way? I think this pic is proof that they do. Men trying to appear as women, women trying to appear as men. How sad.

The real issue is not how they feel about themselves; the real issue is what they are. They can look between their legs to figure that out. And if they need help with that, they should seek the help they need to adjust to who they really are.

Finally, the main point here is that society is under no obligation whatsoever to distort reality and accommodate the disorientation of these people. This article shows how silly our "leaders" are in that they are so desperate for approval, so enslaved to the herd mentality, that they will actually surrender public safety from terrorism in order to accommodate a person who can't even accept who they are.

The people who can't accept who they really are have serious troubles, but the supposedly well-adjusted leaders of society who act like 9th graders horrified of criticism are even worse. They have no mental dysfunction like these sexually disoriented people to blame it on, yet they are slaves to the same dysfunction that plagues these homosexuals and transsexuals.

How sad for the homosexuals, and how pathetic of our leaders.
  • a2audrey
Actually, no Bob. They don't dress that way. Have you seen men dressed that way in the airport or passing through SD? Thought not.,..

And, what's so "sad" about it, Bob?

Your POV requires you to ignore the recommendations of care for gender dysphoric people of the American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and many other professionals who have studied the issue. But, their findings don't align with your worldview so you dismiss them as "politically correct" and ignore them to make your point.
  • Actually I know of at least one man in the area who dresses like a woman, and there may be more.

It's very sad that some people are so confused about who they are, and sadder still that people who should know better (like the AMA) are slaves to peer pressure, the herd instinct and political correctness rather than trying to help these people adjust to reality.

It isn't a matter of aligning with my worldview; these folks aren't aligning to the reality between their legs and in their genetic makeup.

Also very sad that you are clueless to the truth yourself.
  • soccerphoenix
No, Bob, transgender people do not dress like Marilyn Monroe.
