Gov Rick Perry at the Values Voter Summit

Texas Gov. Rick Perry
Texas Governor Rick Perry was the first of the Saturday afternoon speakers at the Values Voter Summit today.
Perry said the party in charge of Washington right now is proving what many of us have long known about their extreme liberal agenda.
He said that contrary to how liberals are trying to paint us as rebels and such, we are expressing our love for this great country. The crowd gave Perry a standing ovation for this remark.”
Perry said that with the liberal’s insistence that you can spend your way out of debt, they need to take a course on Economics 101 on Capitol Hill…and while they’re at it, a course on Constitution 101.
He said it was time we the people put a stop to the assaults on our rights being perpetrated from this city of Washington D.C., for the big-government advocates are ignoring the limitations on government so clearly set forth in the Constitution
When Perry stated the federal government needed to take a fresh look at the Tenth Amendment, because it was created to serve us, not the other way around, he received a hearty standing ovation.
