The latest congressional socialist to feel the wrath of patriotic Americans fed up with government interference was Rep. Steve Kagan (D-WI).

Folks in Green Bay, Wisconsin let him know Monday night they didn’t want to see socialized health care forced on them.

On Tuesday about 350 people came out to tell him much of the same.

From the Post Crescent:

“Unless I’m missing something, if we increase the taxes on all of these people who they (Congress) are defining as wealthy, they’ll have less money available to pay people and, frankly, less money to create new jobs. In a time when our unemployment rate is skyrocketing, we ought to be providing incentives for people to create jobs, not disincentives,” said Bill Welch, chief executive officer and president of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.

“There is absolutely nothing in the legislation under consideration that would encourage anyone to create a new job,” he said.

And

Participants at Kagen’s Appleton event said some of their anger is stoked from fear of its potential price tag. Some also are frustrated by the number of costly financial bailouts and stimulus packages Congress and Obama have approved.

“I resent this current administration’s agenda, to turn this country into the United Socialist States of America,” said Bill Recker, an Appleton resident and business owner. “I resent the bailout money that’s been spent … and no accountability for it.”

Recker questioned the bill’s constitutionality, saying it “borders on tyranny.”

How beautiful it is to see Americans defend their freedom and their Constitution!  Despite the fact that our federal government is now run by un-American socialists, with the people taking a stand for their God-given rights, we may yet preserve this land of the free and home of the brave.

Keep it up, America!  Your country needs you.
