Isn’t it interesting when someone who ardently defends infanticide and abortion, moves to rescind conscience protections for health care workers, opens the door to taxpayer-funded destruction of embryonic human life, approves of killing disabled people, defends homosexual behavior, trashes marriage, minimizes America’s Christian heritage, sits in a racist Islam-sympathetic church for 20 years, and gives a pathetically small amount of their large income to charity…
Isn’t it wonderful when someone like this feels the need to lecture Christians about moral responsibilities?
Especially when that moral code springs from Christianity…a religion which makes it abundantly clear that charity is to come from private individuals and groups rather than forced government charity…
Especially when he accuses those who oppose his unconstitutional, un-American, un-Christian socialized health care plan of lying:
“There has been a lot misinformation in this debate and there are some folks out there who are frankly bearing false witness”
It’s that fundamental belief — I am my brother’s keeper, I am my sister’s keeper — that makes this country work.
You know, that kind of brazen audacity would be hilarious…if it wasn’t so devious and sacrilegious.
Religion–Christianity, to be specific–is nothing more than a tool to be exercised to control those he sees as malleable. Obama believes that if he whips out a few scripture references, these stupid Christians will swoon under the believe that God has spoken from on high through His prophet Obama. Who would dare, after all, disobey the prophet of the Lord?
What Obama fails to understand is that God didn’t leave us without guidance, at the mercy and whim of false prophets. There is a way to get a pretty good idea of the moral reliability of what someone is telling you: their fruits.
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. – Matthew 7:15-20
