Sen. Ben Cardin Gets No Love at Town Hall

One of the latest town hall meetings on health care socialization has turned out much like every other one for the past two weeks.  Unruly American serfs showed up, ungrateful for the scraps their lords intend for them and have failed to show the respect proper for their noble betters. (see video below)

Fox News reports Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) held another town hall in Towson, Maryland and was meet by Americans angry over the intended government takeover of health care.

Cardin was booed and jeered repeatedly throughout his 25-minute presentation and the question-and-answer period.

The crowd had to be asked to calm down to allow him to continue.

Cardin said how to pay for the bill has not yet been worked out, a comment that prompted even more derision from the audience. Some shouted, “Taxes!” and others shouted, “Spend, Ben, spend!”

At one point, four police officers strolled down the two aisles of the auditorium at Towson University and stood in front of the stage.

Cardin defended the health bills, saying they would provide more choice, and that there would be more people, not fewer, with insurance.

One questioner asked for an example of anything the government had taken over and provided cheaper. Cardin cited the national parks system and Medicare.

That drew more boos and jeers.

Cardin said Medicare is cheaper than private insurance for the elderly, adding, “your government runs it more effectively.”

It’s “cheaper” because it robs the young to pay for the health care of the elderly…and it’s still going broke.  It’s just another socialist ponzi scheme.

Lies, lies and more lies! And these liberal charlatans wonder why people won’t listen to them at town hall meetings. People get tired of listening to a bunch of garbage that indicates government elitists think they’re morons.

Most Americans are awake now and they have no desire for any more of the pap and socialist drivel liberals have been peddling for so long.

Cardin was one of the first to hold one of these explosive town hall meetings back in mid to late July.  At that one, a man named Robert Broadus from Clinton, Maryland spoke out against this socialist attack on American freedom.  Though Broadus’ courage has not been diminished in the slightest by the many who have since followed him at other town hall meetings, it is wonderful to see that he is not the only patriotic American out there who is determined not to see the American way of life go the way of socialist mediocrity.

President Obama himself is scheduled to face the angry beasts in a town hall meeting today.  It will be interesting to see the outcome.

Will the American people attending this event be intimidated by the aura of the presidency?

Will Obama dazzle the people, like deer in the headlines, and quiet their fears with his charm?

Will it be an invitation-only, tightly-scripted and controlled work of fiction?

It will be interesting to see…
