Red Carpet Rolled Out for Planned Parenthood in WH Health Care Meeting

The liberals pushing a government takeover of the health care industry have been trying to convince the American people that taxpayer funded abortion won’t be a part of the plan.

Really?

So why has Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest provider of abortion services, been invited to a “special meeting” on health care “reform” at the White House?

Well, you’re at least as smart as I am, so I’m sure you can figure it out.

The president of the nation’s largest abortion business attended what she called a “special meeting” at the White House yesterday on health care reform. This is the second time the Obama administration gave special privileges to Planned Parenthood.

As the mainstream media denies abortion funding is in the health care bills Congress is considering, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards appears to have special access to the White House to make sure it is included.

In a note she posted on Facebook, Richards reveals more about the meeting and the Obama administration’s strategy for getting the pro-abortion bill approved.

“Yesterday I attended a special meeting at the White House to discuss women and health insurance reform,” Richards writes.

“The basic message was that we’ve got to remind folks why we became so dedicated to reforming the health care system — or more particularly, the health insurance system — in the first place,” she continues.

Richards says the government-run health care system is needed because of rising health care costs and appears to indicate more women are visiting Planned Parenthood centers for abortions.

Costs are going up, so we need to reach into the taxpayer’s pockets and grab some cash to kill more unborn children…whether the owners of those pockets like abortion (or being robbed) or not.

Actually, the cat got out of the bag and all doubt was removed on the socialized health care/abortion issue a couple of days ago when Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) admitted abortion would be provided in the government health care plan:

“Abortion will be covered as a benefit by one or more of the healthcare plans available to Americans, and I think it should be,” said Logren, eliciting jeers and protests from the crowd.

The Capps Amendnment to HR 3200 specifically requires that abortion will be available on the taxpayer’s dime in ever region of the U.S.

In the Utopian world of the liberals in control of our government right now, only certain human beings have value, and it’s only those that provide useful services to the almighty state. Old people, frail and near the end of their lives, are of no significant use to these utilitarian Marxists, and neither are helpless infants.

So while those deemed worthy and valuable to the state would receive health care under the government plan (so that they can continue being a useful cog in the machine), those cogs deemed of limited value will have low priority for allocation of resources in the worker’s paradise.

Know what you’re getting into if you back this ghastly, un-American plan.  This is it, chaps.
